Tina had to bury her 2 biological sons before she died from cancer, David died of nobody knows what, and I doubt if he had a happy personal life. The price of being an icon can be too expensive. I love the music they made as much as my simple life as nobody.

Yes Stacey!! I thought i was the only one here who noticed. He is a gifted guitarist and it was The Fixx's first 3 albums that he bewitched me on those superb records. True story, when i worked at WEA Records Warner Elektra Atlantic) i got to meet and have a little chat with Cy Curnin, he was so gentle and lovely to me. I actually handed him the precious mastertape to their forthcoming beautiful Phantoms album. It was a relief to hand it to him as it was so precious. I got the job to deliver it to the band at a recordstore promotion for the album they were having when they toured here to NZ in the early 80s. When i said to Cy that i loved their concert the night before, he was so genuinely delighted about that. I remember his first words to me were "Hi, is that the master?" Wish i could of met Jamie, but not to be, i used to play guitar then and it would of been a real buzz, but i was so lucky to meet Cy, what a rock singer he is.

I once saw a concert by Tina Turner and all I could think of was this incredible Woman on stage is at the same age as my mother. When I heard of her death I was as everybody else I guess shocked. With these great stars, you think they are immortal and when Live proves you wrong you are shocked for some Days. Luckily we have youtube so we can watch her hours and hours.
