- I took the new Apple iPhone 12 out for a real-world test in upstate New York complete with camera comparisons from the iPhone 12 vs other devices, a full day battery test, and we discuss some of the other features of the new iPhone.

I just love watching these real world tests. Really Unique way of showcasing the phone's ability. I thought Velvet has terrible cameras but the pictures turned out pretty good.

Samsung really nailed night mode this year. The shot at 11:00 is impressive. Kept the porch light minimized to its area while still showing the green of the grass and allowing you to see everything around.
I love the “Real World” test you do with the phones, definitely keep that going ... but those pictures from the S20 FE are legit ... great video

Damn that Pixel 5 camera is still better for me. 3 year old sensor, google is nuts with their sw.
Google does take good pictures but I actually prefer the ones of the 12 pro it’s more realistic and has a better night mode I don’t think Google has night mode on the selfie camera And the video Quality nothing compares to the iPhone when it comes to that Area of the camera. My second favorite is a Samsung camera And my third favorite is the Google pixel. But I actually prefer the iPhone 12 pro anyWho everybody has different tastes and That’s all good. Add to that being able to edit in raw And that makes the case for me to stay with iPhone

Vedang A That’s what I said everybody has a preference of what they like. It’s good to have choices. Personally I like the iPhones better. Google is also pretty good choice Samsung is OK but gimmicky phones almost half of the features always need to have several updates in order for them to work right.
GH0STST4RSCR34M that’s your opinion it’s great to have choices The maturity of the people like the iPhone And Google pictures better. Personally the only reason why I like the iPhone pictures are more realistic and you have more controls of how you take them. Once taken you could go onto your Camera app and edit it to your liking. I prefer iPhones better for that reason also Google is better than a Samsung as well. When it comes to phones I prefer Apple because of the iOS experience and reliability I always have with the phone software and hardware is always exceptional. When it comes to android I prefer Google pixel because it offers a similar experience when it comes to reliability and photos are good. Samsung SO is full of gimmicky features and over half of the features never work right requiring several updates. Every Samsung phone I have ever owned has give me trouble straight up. So the only two phones I like is number one Apple iPhones and number two for android google pixel nothing else comes close to These two phones in terms of reliability and pictures. Samsung is a close 4th behind the oneplus series

This is a nice break from other tech channels where the reviewer would primarily be sitting down and review the product. Since Covid started, been feeling a bit wanderlust so I can only live vicariously through watching vlogs.

The guy carries a dlsi everywhere to take pictures and videos for content, i don't think 6 phones are that big of a deal to him
Ha I usually have 7 on me. All in my backpack besides the main one I'm using for the video which is in my pocket of course. It's a lot and taking 7 photos of my breakfast gets some weird looks lol
It's true, the camera with a fuzzy mic on top gets enough looks and the 7 phone photos at once confuses them even more lol
I love this kind of review. 😂 It gives a much more accurate perspective like how most of us will be using the phone and what to actually expect battery wise.
Cinematography is insane. Your last minute decisions give me anxiety tho 😭
This video, unsurprisingly, showed me that in most of the situations(almost all), the pixel 5 is still better than the iPhone 12 for photos. iPhone brightens up the image a bit too much.

I think it's safe to say smartphone cameras have plateaued. Barely any differences between the images that couldn't be tweak in software after.

Great video, but not comparble to the iphone 12 pro, because the brightness of the regular 12 was actually lower than the brightness of the 12 pro. Just keep that in mind for your next videos.

I was in a wedding at the Mohonk Mountain House... beautiful spot, that lake looks surreal when you're there. Didn't say there though, crazy expensive like you said.
Great video, reminded me of when I got lost on Bear Mountain. It got dark on me before I could reach the car. Lessons learned. Gonna check out those spots you mentioned for coffee and dinner. Time to escape from Brooklyn for a bit.

Honestly, the pixel 5s daylight photos look excellent, they are still the best basing on the comparisons. However, iphone has the best video camera against all smartphones. Night shots are not that great on all of the phones though. So in conclusion, if you want to get the best daylight pictures, go with the pixel and if you want to get excellent videos go with the iphone.
Price will still differ and preference, me I'll take the pixel 5 all day. Great batt life, okay performance and I'm an android guy.

I think you have something interesting going on here because even after I settle on what I'm going to buy, I'd probably still come back because the vlog content is fairly interesting. Trying to decide between Pixel 5, iPhone 12 and curious to see if 12 Pro Max will tempt me.
hey can you make a video with the mini being more specific about the battery life or the charge when you start working with it and how it goes along the day with full charge? that way itll ne easier for some people like me to get an idea about the battery life. thank u.
I’m thinking about the mini. But then the battery worries me. But it might do a good job. If yah had to stick on charge on eve a day it might not be to bad because the battery should charge quick as it’s smaller
