I knew about this in general, like if you miss you can correct foot or even just tension in belly or cheeks rather than adjusting the throw itself to change that wee bit you've been off target. I've never thought about it from the back foot though, so thanks for that think piece.
Thanks for the video. I've been playing for a couple years. Is there a book I should have that breaks it down? My experience has been completely intuitive trial and error. After three years, I'm close. I'm ready to read something definitive, if it exists.
Playing with a metronome helped me a lot. Just use the Google metronome and find a temp that matches your normal throwing speed. Eventually you can internalize it.
Well, I gave this a shot and nothing. Still constantly hit 18’s, 5’s, and 12’s. Hell, I even slopped in a double 9. I hit everything except the triple 20! My arm just doesn’t cooperate like it used to. I can’t see how I can ever improve at darts anymore! 😢
I never even considered the back foot i always thought front was more important. Another great video
Glad you liked it
I have started back on my darts after
I watched your video on stance and made the changes, and immediately saw a major improvement .So I just would like to say THANKS
Great to hear! you are welcome, keep watching every week for more tips :)

Very very good. Makes sense. I’ve played darts for years and I’d be willing to bet that my feet were always wrong.
Great tips as always but my god those last few seconds - Hilarious boys 😂
Thank you, as a starter on this journey I stumbled across this practicing method by chance and now seeing your video makes perfect sense
Wonderful!
I'd often wondered about how to correctly approach the oche going into the stance
What about if you throw from the left of the oche like gilding?
Move to the middle.....
Great video. Never even gave this a thought.
Glad you enjoyed it!

No there isn't no real books on darts
@missiondarts I'm shocked. There's an opportunity there for someone.
I def need to look at this my natural throw goes 0.5mm right towards 1 direction
I'll try alter back foot
I had the yips can you give me tips so I can get back to where I was playing really well carryon from my first com
Dartitis is hard to cure in words I am afraid, good luck refinding the form

Matching shoes
1:17 - He's done that before
Hmm, maybe that’s why my darts constantly fly into the 5 and triple 12.
…same, but I throw left-handed… lots of head scratching tomorrow morning at the oche…
