@@kalipsy5700 I've found that the spinning blades have a tendency to cancel you out of Once More. That attack has killed me more than any of Roxas's other attacks specifically for that reason. Even with Once More, the spinning blades can just delete you.

Glide Quick run Aerial dodge Dodge roll And high jump Are not required u can cheese the fight with quick run but it's not 100% required. U can easily evade the dm just while jumping also it is possible with out any abilitys but veeeeeeeeeeeery hard.

What I did for leveling: For leveling Sora, I went through the mansion in Twilight Town over and over again with Experience Boost (+100% exp when on half health or less). I recommend unequipping any healing items from Donald and Goofy. For the forms, you can actually use the three maps before the Roxas story fight in TWTNW. Going to the Alley of Between while having your drive form active resets your drive gauge, much like going to another world. Going to Betwixt and Between resets the Heartless spawn, so you can easily throw Drive Converter on and Sweet Memories to level up Master, and the other two can quickly and easily level up on just the Heartless alone.
Did anyone know that if you get hit by his combo of attacks, followed up by a dash, right before he does the dash attack and you get boosted up by him, use relfect, he gets reflected.
Dude I’m getting slaughtered by him on proud mode in data. It’s sad because I have ultimate keyblade which I know it’s worse than a pumpkin and I have the ability berserk. 6 hi potions and ethers. There’s an ability that destroys me mid way every time is when he charged at you and then tosses both key blades at you which I don’t think is block able. You can probably reflega it.
There is a much more obvious and easier way to retaliate against the spinning blades. Just put on counterattack! Its a free powerful hit after a gaurd on his blades that opens him up.for a full combo attack as well. Yeesh
The spinning blades come out so fast so that guarding isn't always a consistent way to deal with it. You need to anticipate a guard when he approaches you, but that approach can also mean he'll do the ground combo attack, which can hit you if you guard too early. If you guard early and he does the spinning blades, great. But if you guard early and he winds up his ground combo instead, it will hit you. Since he does the ground combo more often, I find it makes more sense to wait and react accordingly most of the time, even if that means getting hit by the spinning blades and using Limit Form to stay safe.
I might just stop trying to do 100% kh2 because roxas is invincible. It doesnt matter how much dmg i do because late moveset is unstoppable and cant be dmged. How do finishers help if you cant do a single finish? None of the fights ever encourage finishers. Its constant bs invincible spammed attacks and weird shitty gimmick abilities for every data org. I dont even see a point in avoiding his attacks anymore because he loops the same attack infinitely with virtually no delay even if their is one. Also guard is a turd and does nothing.
Do you have kh2 final mix and if you do then you need to go to cave of remembrance and complete it and you will be at the garden of assemblage. That's where you find data Roxas
You need to level up Limit Form to be able to use Dodge Roll outside the form (same goes for every other form's growth ability). It's not hard to do and doesn't take very long at all if you optimize your level grind. Look up Soraalam1's 2FM Form leveling guide on TH-cam, that will show you the fastest, most efficient ways of leveling up every form.
To avoid the lasers, I usually just use Dodge Roll. If he does the long ground combo with lasers, just spam dodge roll until he stops attacking and they shouldn't hit you. For shorter attacks where he only hits once, one well-timed dodge should do the trick. I wouldn't recommend using Guard when he attacks with lasers since they can still hit you pretty easily.

Leveling up Final Form. If you don't know where to get Final Form, you get it randomly by entering any form after beating the story Roxas fight. You level up Final Form by defeating nobodies. You should get Glide Lvl 3 by form level 7.
Reflect is very good in this fight if timed well. Back when I made this video, I didn't really show that enough since I was less experienced and basing my tips on personal experience when I was less adept with finding specific moments where Reflect is useful. Finishing the fight with Reflect spam is definitely safer since you only need to land one good reflect to take out his last bit of health, but that could be said for pretty much any boss in the game lol. Congrats on beating him!
