GODZILLA in disguise

And here are yet again with another feature, and this time its in this beautiful form of a luxury sedan with a twist. 😉
Introducing the Disguised Godzilla, the Nissan C34 Laurel with a RB26DET in it. The heart and soul of a R32 itself being transplanted into this mean drift spec machine.
However, like any other Laurel this started it's life as another "Luxury" car from the Nissan in the early mid 90's, getting passes through a few boring hands and finally ends up in the hand of Aravinda, the owner of the car.
Aravinda is a really long friend of ours and we wanted to feature this specifically for how unique it was to our culture, not seeing many/any drift cars this was surely a take to do for us, especially with an RB swap in it. Why 'RB swap' you may ask.. and it's due to the evolution of engines it has had over the couple of years, starting from turbocharging the factory standard RB20DE, then soon going for big single turbo RB25 and finally is right now running on full RB26DET (upgraded single turbo). The full spec/build list will be written below.
The video took us about an year or so to make, and it is really worth taking such a long time for an amazing out of the box concept we had in mind and it was perfectly executed from our perspective. I hope you enjoy watching this video as much as we did enjoy making it!
