The most underrated UK band of the 90s. Always in the shadow of the pretty boys Ride. Swervedriver could blow them off the stage! 'Raise' is a start to finish masterpiece.
The 90s. My time, my days. Skating endless summers to Nirvana and Sonic Youth. And I'm still stuck there. The last great decade of music and ... well, everything really. Those of us who were there are damn lucky!
Turning 30 this year... I miss those days but not the kind where I will not appreciate the current time because... I've had my awesome years in the past!!! :)
I can't believe I'm old enough to have bought this single as 12" vinyl single back when I was a teenager. I remember getting to like the b side also but can't remember the name of the song. Must still have it somewhere at my mum's place!
This song makes me think of flying whenever i hear it, and just travelling in general. Guess that's why they're space travel rock n roll, incredible stuff.
You can see for miles you say I'm not watchin' anyway Hold on tight to the side you take I can't mind 'cause I'm not right So far reaching Never lose that feeling Past believing Never lose that feeling I'll sweep up the streets today Take your leave then look away You need something more today I don't mind and it's always this way So deceiving Never lose that feeling So revealing Never lose that feeling So far reaching Never lose that feeling So deceiving Never lose that feeling Feeling Past believing Never lose that feeling So revealing Never lose that feeling
I hate that "shoe gaze" terminology. Swervedriver are a British alt rock band if anything they're a non Seattle grunge band....they should have been fucking huge!!! Nevermind I think they're fucking A-class
That guitar is everything. My goodness, wish I could live in that era. Failure, Hum and Swervedriver are the only things I care about now.
It was pretty awesome being a teenager when all this great music was released!
Get you some Narrow Head, Bleed, Gleemer, Slow Crush, Modern Colour, Superheaven, Superbloom, Moodring and Soul Blind

This is such bs, there's endless amounts of fantastic music coming out nowadays, you just gotta go look for it.
The underrated kind of vocals. So stoned and tired sounding. I love this song ❤

This band is underrated.
I get that feeling again when I listen to this.
Immense riff. Just immense. The greatest shoegaze song in a sea of brilliant SG music. Just listen to those guitar overlays. Unstoppable!!!
Swerdriver crafting sonic landscapes for over 35 years.
Every time I listen to this song, it reminds me of the mid-to-late 90s snowboarding videos. Might be the hazy VHS-like imagery.
Ah, nostalgia...

Thanks to Swervedriver I know Road Rash :). Great game that was before my time.
@@jesseemullen Друг, а сколько тебе лет?
If it wasn't for Road Rash, I wouldn't be having the time of my life listening to Swervedriver.
@@balltongue666 If it weren’t for the fact I possess a functioning set of ears I’d have never got into these guys either.
magical riffs
Lembro-me que ficava o dia inteiro esperando o clip Swervedriver passa na Mtv!! foi uma época muito especial!
Eles têm duas músicas no Road Rash do PS1, Duel e Last Train to Satansville. A primeira tem clip no jogo.
Valeu!
Eles já passaram algum clip na MTV Brasil nos anos 90?
vi uma vez de madrugada@@probablymelgibson2344
