This is explained how my brain works. Big exam tomorrow, only 4 weeks into basic EMT and we’re testing on everything learned up to this point. This video is covering what has been far and away the hardest chapter for me. Thanks, coach!
Going through EMT school right now, on week 2 and man watching your videos after lectures for extra clarification is sooo helpful. Keep em coming my man. Subscribed✅
I've always had trouble with proximal and distal because of the way its worded in my textbook. The above and below concept here makes perfect sense to me. THANK YOU

i’m considering emt school and i’ve been trying to learn some things before i go and these videos help so so much… was wondering if it was possible to put the words ur defining on the screen as i suck at spelling
Hey, love the videos! I’m starting clinicals here in a few days and I think a good video would be basic things an emt b needs to know how to do before starting clinicals(ex. 12 lead ekg). I’ll figure it out here soon, but for others it would be a big help!
Thanks for tuning in and watching all the content here! Check out these videos, on assisting a medic that should help a ton! th-cam.com/video/QzDRnsxhPWM/w-d-xo.html & th-cam.com/video/C7KPyCSIVJc/w-d-xo.html

I will be attending EMT training classes next month in October. I planned to get a leg up beforehand. I was interested in your online classes/training course and wanted to know if it was refundable? I haven’t yet decided to buy
This video helped so much! Do you by chance have any tips on physiology or pathophysiology? Having a tough time with it but it’s probably due to an overload of information
Hey, Evan thanks for the kind words about what i do! If you are looking for help with school and exams join the Video Study Course ; www.prepareforems.com
As an EMT, vital signs, exams, and transporting the patient to hospital for treatment. As a Paramedic, you would start an IV & start IV fluids, rare but possible a Paramedic could have access to insulin but very uncommon.
hey man nice video. I've had people tell me this as a tip and I want to share it with you(you can 100% delete this comment if you want)but anyway they were telling me to add more words and pictures and stuff like that into videos like this.
Actually...a better way do explain proximal and distal is in relation to the heart or center line of the body. So the shoulder is proximal to the hand because it is closer to the center line than the hand, not because its above it...that would be superior.

Happy to help!
Also for ventral, the way I learned it is “Vente” in Spanish is “come” so you “come forward” so Front.. i don’t know if that makes sense but yeah..
This comment helped me, thanks 🤣🔥

I'm a registered nurse but I love watching your videos because it's informative
thank you!
This helped a lot. Been binge watching your vids to get as much knowledge as I can before I start emt school next month
In reference to Anterior and posterior, "Post"means afters, or past, like it's behind you. Superior, means your higher.
you can also think of ventral like this: your nose is a type of vent and that is on the front of a body!
I'm starting school Monday and reviewing for testing Monday and this did help.
This is awesome! I just started emt school and im gling a full 2 years for paramedic. Ill definitely be watching more!
That's how you do it! Thanks for watching videos every week

EMT & Paramedic, what is the difference? Is EMT just basic? Do they primarily assist the Paramedics and drive the ambulance?
