Using Purrely confirm my theory that duels in ranked are rigged cuz every time i use that deck all my duels is always against mikanko players that always starts with a kaiju in the hand and when i decide to use another deck for some mysterious reason all mikanko players stop showing in ranked how weird konami ...........
IT’s Purrely ridiculous!!! But seriously the deck is leagues ahead of any competition. Makes you only want to play Mikanko or Kaijus. Which is a bit discouraging.
The Field Spell's targeting protection and Continous Spell's asset recovery are honestly more dangerous than any of the monsters by themselves, and enough to make backrow removal a strong consideration going forward. The only real ways to stop the ExHappiness OTK with Stray Street up for example are Forbidden Droplet, Attack/Battle Phase disruptions and various non-targeting battle tricks that are not always easy to find space for. ExNoir is vulnerable to Continuous effects like Equip Cards, Fog Blade, Crackdown and Fiendish Chain, but most of those target or can get the blowback effect chained to them(which at least forces out detatches). Mill decks can potentially use Shadow Mist and/or Break the Destiny to get to Plasma, though to suck up the monster to boost their attack requires targeting protection to be offline. Swarming is an actual concern for the deck, especially if it leads to high impact boss monsters. In general, 2 monsters = Backrow Removal, 3 Monsters = Plasma or some giant beatstick with benefits, 4 monsters = Underworld Goddess, a board wipe or some other potential game ender. Ghost Ogre and Kurikara Divinecarnate also do a ton against the deck specifically because of the Sleepy Memory Draws in Standby. And if the opponent uses Purrely Spells on their XYZ monsters to protect them, those are additional opportunities to make those cards live as they attach to them.
You know, after Tearlaments oppressive reign, having the only Tier 1 deck take on 15% of results is a nice change. Also, cat-rabbit-dogs are graded on a curve at least until October.
During duel 4, I just want to point out that you could have spun back pretty memory in the gy to stop your opponent from making epurrely beauty with the purrlyly
Scrup take but i'd say this deck would be fine if it wouldn't do so much with so little. Turn 1 it can establish Towers with up to 6 Draws in the Standby Phase to potentially get all the handtrap it needs. Banishes around 3 times per Towers. Going second it OTKs with very little effort. But i guess people will give it a pass for now since we freshly left a really long Tier 0 format.
Honestly people are going to complain about whatever to tier deck is being played because a lot of people want to play it. If it wasn't purrely, dlink would probably get all the hate instead.
youre way less likely to run into gamma rn than something like fenrir or unicorn which is why its way better to shotgun maxx 'c' before they can summon either also it plays around TTT which is seeing a ton more play aswell in this meta

no matter which deck i use, i can never seem to get out of platinum, not even with Purrely there's always that perfect string of bad luck that pushes me from Platinum 1 or 2 all the way down to 5
Honestly I enjoyed fighting tear more than Purrely, just having a huge cinderblock of a cat laughing at you for not drawing a kaiju is really toxic. Tear was strong but it felt more fair. Purrely just feels cheap and forces you to run suboptimal stuff in deck just to have a chance at beating it (and even if you kaiju, you still lose if you can't OTK). Awful design with them and mikanko IMO
with this my exosister, labrynth and traptrix deck probably will never be played again especially during this meta. instead I'll use my rikka in the meantime while waiting my mikanko deck to complete.
Hey can someone answer this for me: If i have Purrely Pretty Memory attatched to Noir, it always activates Noir's bounce effect instead of the succ effect, even if i have My Fwiend Purrely on the field and the two cats on the field Does this have something to do with Purrely Noir's Towers effect?
When you activate Noir's effect the game allows you to activate the original noir effect and to activate the pretty memory effect(absorb one card as materials)

Then don't play until Purrely gets hit, use this time to take a break from the game. Really not that complicated. (also this is a COMPETITIVE card game, of course Konami is going to print better and better decks and of course people are going to play those in a COMPETITIVE game.)
Note: this comment is not intended to invalidate/trivialise your comment but just to simply offer a solution despite how unfair Purrely can seem which I can understand why. Its a first for me when Purrely came to MD as I only play MD and not TCG (funnily I came into Yu-Gi-Oh via duel links lol). I haven't built Purrely myself nor do I understand it properly so I am just a learner as well. I'd definitely recommend to make use of Kaijus (not Lava golem as much since they usually just have their boss monster) and make sure u have a good way of OTKing them quickly on the same turn as they recovery their resources with the help of the continuous & field spell. Also it's really helpful to learn when to interrupt Purrely for and how to make use of non engine cards as well as engine cards optimally against them, for example: imperming the black cat is really useful since it's stopping both effects which are hard once per turn unlike the white cat. Ashing the continuous spell in most cases but you have to be careful on if they can work around it. A general tip I'd like to add for any archetype is that if you read all their relevant cards as if you know automatically what they do it can go a long away in understanding how they function so that you can use that knowledge against them. You can even do one better by watching how their gameplay e.g. combo guides etc. Most people would only learn a deck if they intend to make it themselves so for that I recommend the above mentioned points. Abuse TTT and something like forbidden droplet and just bait them to go under 5 materials. If not, godess. You could also tech up specifically for them such as herald of the abyss, kaiju… though those cards are somewhat bricks vs other decks
Last guy would have just won if they used Arabesque to summon Hu-Li first. Then dump Rondo with Ceremony, attack twice on Kaiju, then take Kaiju with Rondo using Ohime for game. Wouldn't even need to use the other three cards in-hand. SMH You'd think people in Master III would be better than this...
This is part of the reason, in some ways, I hate yugioh.... so many decks have all their cards limited to once per turn, but this not decks like this.... Sure, on that cards summon, you can't use it again, but if you summon another one or summon it again, then you can. If this game is going to make things fair, ALL CARDS in the game should have a once per turn usage. Otherwise, you start to break the game. Its ESPECIALLY the reason I hate that piece of shit card Fairy Tail Snow.... that card is WAY too overpowered because every time you destroy it, it will just keep summoning on the field and flipping your cards face-down, and that's the least of what you can use it for.... Cards like that shouldn't exist and shame on the creators of these effects for making a lop-sided game because of these infinite effects.
