  • The sail from Tahiti to Tonga proved longer than I thought, mainly because of the unsettled, light trade winds, or the lack of them...

Hi Attila what a sailor you are, I’ve had to sell my dear old Hurley 22 ( prostate cancer) running out of stamina but I’ve bought a 2007 Astus 16.1 Tri for little inshore trips until I see where this old life takes me. Take care bro sailor.

The Pacific looks like being a much harder sail then the Atlantic in those same latitudes, must be tough! Great shot love this boat so much! She doing a great job of course you behind the helm too! Safe winds to Tonga and other horizons!

    Great video as allways.
Question? What is the adventage, if any, to sail two head sails over one big spinaker or asimetric?

The boat is way better balanced, if she wanders off one direction, the sail on the same side will push it back with little help from the rudder. Also, easy enough to douse the sails if you have to quickly, just furl them up. And you can sail dead downwind, which is hard with any other configuration without the dangers of jibing.

Hello I have a little question, I have the same tender as you but I have trouble putting it in the water and especially getting it back on board, it is very heavy, how do you do?

    • @attilavedo1474

I pump it up on deck, then swing it out by hand as far as I can. Make sure the painter is connected. Finish pumping and oars on the water. Bit awkward and heavy, but what can we do?
