    To adore is to worship...
Adoration is the deep love and respect paid to someone we revere, especially as it pertains to a divine being. In the Bible, adoration is required of any and all who profess to know God. Adoration is akin to worship or paying homage.

Catholics worship 1 God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. We do NOT worship idols.

@@anthonymckinney9904 ill repost because comment got removed.
The moment you mentioned a religion already shows how in delusion you are. That is a counterfit god they worship not the one True God.
Wearing any form of jewelry that has the image of a man on a cross is idolatry. Any form of clothing or object that is crafted and portray as holy is idolatry.

@@anthonymckinney9904 Even if they are alive in Messiah, that doesn't mean they should be prayed to. Scripture warns about necromancy (attempting to speak to those who are physically dead). Praying to Mary, the mother of Messiah, and other followers of His who are not Him or His Father, is not right. Also, keep in mind, that those who have died in the flesh are asleep in the spirit. Meaning, they can't hear you. Check out when king Saul sought a medium to speak to the prophet, Samuel (1 Samuel 28). First of all, Yahweh commands we shouldn't even seek out ways to talk to the dead, meaning those dead in the flesh. Secondly, even when Saul went to seek to talk with Samuel after he died, Samuel had to be woken up, proving he was asleep in the spirit. We should not be praying to anyone except, Yahweh the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. No one else. We don't need any physically dead persons to intercede for us. We are able to approach the throne of grace by the blood of Messiah, and His blood alone (Hebrews 4:14-16).
I've heard a lot of Catholics say that praying to Mary and asking her to intercede on your behalf is no different than asking another believer to pray for you. That's just not true. Because as I mentioned, Mary is physically dead and spiritually asleep. She cannot hear you. It is in fact necromancy which is a sin (1 Sam 28; Leviticus 19:26; Deuteronomy 18:10; Galatians 5:19-20; Acts 19:19). Also, asking other brothers and sisters in Messiah to pray for you is different because they are physically alive, which is not necromancy. And, Mary was just a believer. Yes, she was chosen to bear the Savior. However, she was/is not divine and cannot do anything supernatural for anyone.
