Great walkthrough. Thanks for sharing. Maybe it's documented elsewhere but I'd love to see the antennas you're running from the shack and how you have your power distribution set up. 73!
Thanks for showing your shack setup Jason. I'm glad it was not done to advertise your equipment for sale after your last video 😉 And I like the fire breathing piggy too!
Man, nice video and great setup. I'm also curious about the antennas you have. You got me curious about another thing as well, what's your regular job? Don't need to answer if you don't feel like it though. 73 my friend from SA5PEN
Nice antennas Jason! I need to check if TN07 is available here in Sweden. You guys have very interesting stuff there across the pond that are not available (in an easy or cheap way) here in Europe!
A very well ordered shack. Mine looks like a tornado came through. Thank you for the display files too. I run two monitors and it's always up on one of them. I've passed it on to several friends who wanted it. Btw I saw you connected to my HF Winlink gateway some days back. Since it's relatively new I like to get signal reports if possible. I'm good on QRZ if you can drop me a note. Thanks!
I love this, thank you! It gives me some great ideas for outfitting my shack, which is something I've procrastinated in doing for longer than I'd care to admit. I've only recently found your channel, but I'm wondering whether you also use a mobile rig? And if so, how do you have it set up? I have two Yaesu rigs: and FTDX-10 at my base, and an FT-891, which I've had for a couple years now but have barely used. I'm about to get a truck and am planning to install the 891 in that. I'd like to be able to work both voice and digital on the mobile. Anyway, great stuff, cheers!
WHEW!! Didn't know if we would ever see you or your "stuff" again after the last one you did! LOL!! nice setup.. Going to actually move and the rearrange my setup this winter,, hey it gets cold up here in the great white north! And since I don't play in the snow! '73!
Thx for the tour. I'd like to see your antenna setup. I need to be able to put multiple vhf xmit and receive antenna up. How do I keep them from interfering with each other?
Linux Mint is the only thing I use for ham radio op in the shack and field. I do still use the Pi for a digipeater though running Pi OS. I also have a Pi Zero that runs my portable digipeater.
Thanks for sharing! Imagine all the ideas you just started for others!
Thanks for the tour, Jason. Always interesting to see a personal set-up.
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks for the tour!
Great walkthrough. Thanks for sharing. Maybe it's documented elsewhere but I'd love to see the antennas you're running from the shack and how you have your power distribution set up. 73!
Thanks! Power distribution is a real mess here! On the back of the shelving unit there are multiple power distribution strips.
Power distribution remediation. Sounds like an idea for the next video series!
Thank goodness…. He’s alive!!
Thanks for showing your shack setup Jason.

Meshtastic got me interested in APRS and working on getting a license exam done.
1. Glad to see that you're still among the living after that last video 🤣
2. Very cool shack -- thanks for sharing!

Great video. It is a very nice tour of your ham shack. It seems you are still in love of the ham dashboard. Cheers. 73
Yes I am. I run it on a daily basis.
Interesting and fun as always! Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Very nice setup Jason.. I'd be proud if I had a shack like this !
nice to see all the HT are BNC enabled - I have done that as well - makes things simple
Agree!
Your primary monitor 🤩
Wow, so awesome!

I run an TN07 IMD109 tn07.com/imd-109-go-anywhere-antenna for HF and 3 jpole antennas for APRS, Winlink, and voice.

Nice setup! Do you disconnect your outside antennas when not operating?
I don’t unless there’s a lot of lightning in the area.
He's alive. His wife didnt kill him after his last video LOL.
😂😂😂
Nice share !
Thank you 👍

Fine business on your shack. Glad you survived your last video.

vertical separation helps but I still get some interference.
Nice shack! A little bit of mayhem means it is in use! 😂😂 Love the cages great insurance against rig destruction 73 de VK2AOE
would love that PC setup
Multiple windows on one page is fairly easy th-cam.com/video/9ZZXg60tN-o/w-d-xo.html
All I can say is that "My shack is more cluttered than your shack!"😃
😂😂😂
😂😂😂 Too funny!
Good, you haven't been forced off TH-cam.
Live from the ham shack, he's back! The missus gave him his toys back.
Yacc-ity yacc
Whats overlay widget is that?, realy cool how you have it set
I assume you are referring to the dashboard. I did a video on it a while back th-cam.com/video/9ZZXg60tN-o/w-d-xo.html
I use Linux Mint as well. Have not been able to do ft8 on it so far.
Love the fact you are using mint. I am a longtime user of mint. What are you using on screen 3 to put all of those maps on the screen?
th-cam.com/video/9ZZXg60tN-o/w-d-xo.html
I might have been distracted by the level of awesomeness. But I didn’t catch what was used for internet access shack/field
At home I have fiber internet. In the field I try not to use internet at all and do everything over RF
is Linux Mint your preferred OS? I love the fact that you are a operator and pro Linux....definitely got my attention !!! love it

will love to see a video on your desktop 3 setup

What is the software on desktop 3 showing multiple tiled webpages? Just a regular browser?
Regular browser. Here's a video on how it's done th-cam.com/video/9ZZXg60tN-o/w-d-xo.html
@@KM4ACK thanks for the vid! Definitely doable, gotta start searching for Canada 🍁 🇨🇦 image sources!
what are you using fldigi on 2m for?
lots of data traffic in some metro areas.
We use it for a digital net and day to day chat th-cam.com/video/F3F_rk4_2e4/w-d-xo.html
You have MUF as one of the panes in your Ham Radio Dashboard. What's the link for that? I found KC2G's page, but it won't come up in a pane.
KI5LST
This is the link I am using prop.kc2g.com/renders/current/mufd-normal-now.svg
You didn't include all your accessories and computers in your "Why did I do this?" video. So much stuff she still doesn't know about :) :)
Let’s keep it that way. I finally got out of the dog house 😂
Good grief. Don't show the Mrs. 😂
😂🤣
Very cool! And your married, too? Now let's see the antenna farm.
I am indeed married
Wasnt helpful in the least bit to me, but I still liked the shack tour!
Do you need me to send you some black wire ties? 😅
If you only knew!
