Hype will only give you a momentary fad but then it will go to someone else, thats why curatory is so important in a club so it can prevail no matter what the current trend is, and the same goes for a Dj and his crowd

They dont risk bc they have no taste at all and tend to look for the trend instead of innovative DJ who are realising amazing music, maybe the return on the first parties wont be high or positive at all, but curatory and crowds builds over time and communities can be created if events and bookers are doing the right thing, high risk high reward
