Take good care of your ears, Andrea :)! I used to be an event photographer and went to 2-3 events a week. This shit will catch up with you when you get older. Nowadays, I have a nasty tinnitus and I don't wish this on anyone. If they still exist, the aluminium ear protectors made by Flare are pretty good. They reduce the volume, but maintain the sound characteristics so that you can still hear what you're doing.
THIS IS 100% Facts, Lucky for me my mentor and numerous artist Ive opened for taught me about resting my ear after gigs and The importance of ear protection. The amount of veteran dj's and performers i've met that didn't protect their ears are the ones redlining the booth monitors 10 minutes into their sets. PROTECT YOUR EARS PEEPS

Bringing me back to 90s and 00s when I used to listen to dark trance and techno while writing novels in highschool. What a feeling, like bringing me back to a core part of my identity.
