I'm not sure what I'm seeing here - this is SSG audio synched to a video by the original artist? I'm going to look up the video next to be sure. I realize that SSG "borrowed" lots of tunes, and this is very cool, great idea. Radio Morocco has a snippet of a tune that SSG also borrowed, and I love to hear the originals that they copy from. Has anyone put together such a compliation - Songs That SSG Stole?
OK so I just watched the original clip. Amazing! And on so many levels. The movie itself looks like great fun; but coming at this from the SSG's version of the song, it is also like seeing how one of your favorite magic tricks is done. Thnaks for tipping me off! And as I wrote in a previous comment - I'd love to hear a comp of other originals that the SSG have "borrowed". Has anyone undertaken such a project?
