This young man seems very nice but he is surely NOT an American man. Perhaps he is looking for a more traditional wife and there are very lovely women in Russia who embrace traditional or conservative values and place great importance on family and faith. I'm genutinely surprised that a woman has waited for him in a long distance relationship for 6 years. Although I'm much older, I am a much more typical American man who has the most delightul Russian woman as friends, who I talk to every day on video chat and who I meet somewhere in the world every year and now along with some of their children. We either rent an apartment and explore things from there or we go to an all inclusive resort in a beach town. A few years ago we rented an apartment just off of Tverskaya Street in Moscow and spent a wonerful 9 days together just after Orthodox Christmas when all the beautiful lights and decorations were up. These women are beautiful, intelligent and full of fun but also demanding respect. If I were a younger man, I would begin to study Russian early on in hopes of getting to Russia and finding a nice partner. Now I am happy to have these dear friends.

When I watch street interviews, the majority of Russian women say they want to date Russian men or Italians. They never say they like Americans.
