    "Well, the first thing is I'm not very well read on magic, which blows a lot of people away. I spent my lifetime doing magic, and learning magic, but reading of magic? I'm not actually that well read because I'm too busy doing it," says the woman who is nevertheless better read than most mansplainers out there. "Get off your ar$e and do the f***ing work" should be every practitionner's mantra. You're a central pillar to what we do, Josephine. Thank you always! And thank you Dr Z for doing this lovely interview! Brilliant stuff!

    Thank you for your selfless teachings. I came across your book, Quareia adept.
    I chose it right away and the gentleman from the occult bookstore nexus in AZ told me how you have spent your life trying to teach and giving books away instead of selling and I asked how does she make any money if she does that.? I guess some you sell and donations?
    He said she is the real thing! I am glad I found you and thank you for being one of the kind, down to earth and knowing magic is a part of every day life not only when your practicing or learning and doing. Everything is alive and has vibration. I liked a lot of the things you said. 💜 from South jersey.
    I did live in battle abby sussex england.
    A wonderful boarding school that i loved for years as a child.
    Back then it was only girls school but now its unisex.
    So England is also a part of my wonderful memory's.

      thank you for your kind words! And yes, giving the work away means I don't earn much, but I sell books through Amazon, and create /sell my own decks. And I live simply, have a part time job, and that all works fine for me. The donations to Quareia don't come to me, the money is spent on the students and running the school/website. it is possible to share ones work freely, and make a modest living - there is no need for grand profits. That way, the work continues into the future, it grows, evolves through the generations... I mean, what more could we ask for...!

    Seems I've found a home. I've been looking for decades, getting closer rapidly in the last 3 years or so. This interview, along with the Quareia web site, and recognizing Frater Acher's connection with it (I've really appreciated his work on HGA), together lead me to think I'm ready to dig into a curriculum and its philosophy / vibe, and go full tilt. Thanks for a great and telling interview! Thanks to both of you for your work!

    It is unfortunate that there is such stigma between male and female practitioners in the "Anglo" countries. I have never experienced that in Sweden. There might be some biased perspective since Im a man. However I have never ever giving it a thought that one gender would be "less" in any perspective when practicing magic, nor in any other subject of course. For one example at a point in time I was a member of the Rosicrucian order in Sweden where there where just as many women as men, never did I hear or experience any gender discussions. The focus and discussions was on the magic that matters, good discussions between members not between men and/or women. Strange I say, that you have this problem in the "Anglo" countries.

    First I wanna say I’m like the worst type of TH-cam watcher. I like watching and commenting as I go so I apologize. 😂 okay so I’m at the part where y’all are talking about how so many are coming after witchcraft now because they all want something. Someone just asked me today why kind of magic is my favorite and why do I practice. I was like wow. I’ve never been asked that before. Ummm well, idk. Lol. I don’t ever ask for anything really. I think I use it to feel connected. Almost like self help. Not that I’ve never done a spell asking for things, i have but more often than not that’s not what is happening. I’m here for the experience. But this is why a lot of witchcraft books annoy me. They’re written in a way that’s like okay you want that you do this. I’m I’m over here like just teach me magic! Does that make sense or am I just nuts?

    • @Quareia
      @Quareia ปีที่แล้ว +3

      That makes perfect sense indeed.. I do magic because that is how I breathe and connect with the planet... and I think the same is true for a lot of magicians... that is how Quareia approaches magic - it is done because that is how we are... not because we want something. Good luck on your magical adventures!
