Thank you very much everyone for the likes and support!! It’s been some time since I played Skyrim. This game has a special place in my heart. I’m still keeping my eyes on this video and reading your comments. I’m so glad I made this video and met you good people! :D
Amazing video and SUPER appreciate the way you edited the before and afters side by side , both mod by mod, AND after everything combined. Ultra helpful seeing those differences! Thank you! You sir, have an awesome day!!!!!!
What I'd do is not use Kato's Falkreath and Ivarstead mods, but instead replace it with the Great Cities of Skyrim mod. Basically, the mod completely revamps Falkreath, Dawnstar, Morthal, Winterhold, Dragon's Bridge, and Ivarstead if I remember correctly. I'd recommend you try them both and see what you like the best, I personally prefer the Great Cities mod because it makes all the minor cities better. EDIT: Okay I stand corrected it affects Rorrikstead not Ivarstead
Thanks for the tip buddy! Unfortunately during the making of this video I believe that this mod did not exist. Interesting.. It’s worth checking out! :D
Man I need to subscribe to you. Im getting a PS4 Pro and havent played any Skyrim port except for the switch. Any other game recommendations on what to buy?
Thank you very much! I did not include Kato’s Whiterun because for some reason it was causing my game to crash. But that was back then. Maybe now it has been updated. Try installing it. For sure it’s a nice mod :)
SlygoneLive ok thank you and I will give it a try, I am using all of the mods that you showed besides the wind mod, and my game is working wonderfully thank you so much. I will also try Katos whiterun. Keep up the good work👍
I'm using Rustic Wathers, but might have to give Mythical a shot. Looks very nice. More crisp? Also the hippie one just makes everything look different.
Mythical Ages is definitely worth a try. For me personally, it’s my favorite weather mod for both PC and PS4. Project Hippie adds trees to areas that look kinda empty, like WhiteRun and the area around it.
- Autumn Whiterun - NLA - Natural Lighting Aesthetica - Surreal Lighting - Kyne’s Weathers - TWC Picturesque Pure - TWC There and Back Again - Forests of Skyrim - Green Skyrim
Mythical Ages looks GORGEOUS, does anyone have experience comparing it to Obsidian Weathers? Im thinking about swapping to Mythical Ages after seeing this lol
@ thank you, you're the first to reply. And, i do def appreciate the feedback! Since no one responded until you, I've ran obsidian weathers since it's such a great kinda teamsource work, but i may switch back to Mythical Ages soon since you mentioned it. Do you have any experience or opinion with "NLA - Natural Lighting Aesthetic"? Does it improve a Mythical Ages or Obsidian Weathers, or does it just overwrite things already written by these mods?
I did not have any problem with my saved data when I had these mods installed back then. However, this was a long time ago, and mods are constantly getting updated.
Base PS4 cannot handle more assets/maintain a stable 30 frames in many of these places due to poor optimization. My personal goal with ps4 modding has been to make it as functionally interesting as possible, improving performance wherever i need to/can. I have around 26mb of data split over 70 mods, most are fixes or mechanical in nature. I've had to compromise and cut back on things like trees, animation effects and distant landscaping within cities. End result after extensive testing, i've now got stable frames next to everywhere in the game. Windhelm and even riften with Julihah's Riften overhaul on base Ps4 runs stable 30. There's also a mod which restored the vanilla weathers AND interior lighting from the standard (legendary) edition of the game that i highly recommend, in turn removing god rays. Using that mod actually feels like the game got its identity back.
Hey! Great video! Im brand new to console mods and this was very helpful! Does this load order work with player homes such as hobbiton? If so, Where should the home be in the load order
Unfortunately I haven’t played Skyrim since a long time. If the mod isn’t available anymore then it could be a possibility that the author have removed his mod permanently, or temporarily for some reason that could be bug/glitch related. There is another mod similar to this one, I have seen it on PC but not sure if it’s available on consoles. it’s called “Realistic Lighting Overhaul” or RLO in short term. Hope I was able to help.
Ahh yes, sorry my bad. It’s called interior. I just corrected the spelling in the description. It’s ELE Interior Lighting Overhaul. Sorry for the confusion xD I just checked. The mod is still available for PS4. Good luck!
There's another fairly new lighting mod called "Luminosity Lighting Overhaul" that I use. It's a good middle ground of retaining the vanilla feel & just improving on it, but not making interiors way too dark than they need to be (Which is what ELE does :/). That doesn't mean it's bad mind you, it's just not my cup of tea
The PS4 Pro can handle more mods better than the regular PS4 due to its hardware’s capability. I’m using a PS4 Pro myself. And I remember that this mod list was running without issues on my console. You might want to consider removing some of the mods if you’re getting a noticeable fps drops.
@@SlygoneLive Well i don't own the PS4 Pro so i am not going to use them from what i understand Kato's mods was giving me trouble all other mods are fine
What is the load order? Is it not for pc player? Will get skyrim too after ps3 but modded is the only way for me,but am new to skyrim and mods in general,(only modded some games on my laptop.i heard ps4 does load order automatically.
Skyrim has mods for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Load order is a list of mods you have installed in Skyrim. As you keep installing mods, you will end up having a load order anyway, but it will not be organized in the correct way. The way the game makes the load order is according to the time you have installed your mods. For example, if you have 3 mods: (A), (B), and (C). If you installed (A) first, then (B), then (C). Then the game will automatically make a load order for you as: ABC. You can manually change this load order from ABC to: CBA or ACB, etc... Load order is very important and in most cases you have to manually organize it to avoid game errors or crashes.
Where should I place the bridges mod alongside fallen trees in my load order? I have it kinda near the top with other mods that add buildings and things to the game and i seem to have some glitched bitches where they're off center, it's really unfortunate and it would be awesome if I could find a way to fix it :D
Bridges of Skyrim should be placed above Fallen Trees. Both of them should be close to the bottom. The load order is in the description. If you have other mods and they are glitched in each other, then they are not compatible, and unfortunately you will have to remove one of them.
@@SlygoneLive thank you I'll try that out, I don't have any other bridge mods so I'm not sure what was/is causing it to mess up, there were a lot that were normal but a few that were glitched and I couldn't even walk on them because there wasn't enough room lol. I just had to restart the game due to another mod so It may take a bit for me to find out whether this fixed my issue or not but I can come back an let you know if it does
My mod list is working fine as far as I know. If you have additional mods then you might need to experiment by removing mods and trying, one at a time, till you find the incompatible mod. It can be a pain but this is the world of modding xD
@@SlygoneLive yeah that for sure , I actually have like 98 mods or so on my ps4 lmao so I have a lot to sort through, I recently went through every single one of them and got rid of ones that caused me to crash when exiting load order , and I reorganized a bit , well it was after that I noticed my bridges were all messed up so i knew i must've had the order wrong , i wasn't sure it it went up top (where I had moved it) , near the middle, or near the bottom . I've restarted the game about 4 or 5 times now due to mod stuff lol I think it's safe to say I know bleakfalls Barrow like the back of my hand
@@SlygoneLive I havnt been to many of the bridge areas so far after i last restarted the game, but the ones near whiterun look good again , I havnt really went out further than that yet but I'm assuming the others will all be good as well, I moved it way down the the bottom of the mod loader, well there are a couple things under it but it's still down almost as low as possible
Yes you can. Just make sure you don’t download mods that do the same thing. For example, mods that change the weather or water. Because they’re already included here. Good luck :D
I really don’t understand load order... is that the order in which you enable mods?? Cause once I press load order it like loads them all in how they want and doesn’t give me a selection on the order???
It’s been some time since I touched Skyrim. So I don’t remember how. But you can change the load order however you want. It’s important to place the mods correctly. Because sometimes they can cause critical errors. If you’re using the same mods I have on this video, then you should be safe if you place them in the same order that I did.
On Ps4 if you press square on the mods, you can reorder the mod in the load order. So say that you mod A above mod B, it would load mod A first and mod B second. It's important to order these correctly as some mods need to be loaded before others so they don't interact and break each other by accident. It's fairly complicated and I don't know much myself, but the mod description will most likely have information on how to order it.
If you want to use “Surreal Lighting”, then you must remove “Mythical Ages”. Both of them may not work together. The rest of the list will work just fine.
In some cases no. Some mods will work just fine by placing them anywhere in your load order. But it’s always better to read the description of the mod before installing it to know if the load order is necessary.
I believe so. I don’t see them being a heavy burden on a slim, unless if you add more graphics mods. You might need to test them yourself. I was having a PS4 Pro so I can’t possibly tell. Good luck!
