I picked up the pathfinder poncho pole. I haven’t set it up yet. Apparently we might get snow Wednesday 😂.. I like the gi poncho but the one wind brand is way more hiker friendly… Happy Easter 🐰
gave me idea bro may be 1 more usgi military pouncho - one more of a same kind and use as ground floor and option make brouse bed and snap fill up with leaves together . hmmmmm🤔🙂🤙
Wearing a poncho in warm weather is going to make you sweat so bad that it's just about useless keeping you dry. It's great in colder weather, keeping hypothermia from setting in.
in your experience with the USGI poncho, are they though? im asking because mine is from 1990 and im kinda worried the plastic from the poncho gets corroted after so much time
@@FloridaBoyBushcraftSurvival i see,but in general do you consider them to be better than the material used in camping tents?its way cheaper to have a ranger burrito over a an expensive mulicam tent

A great addition to your gear! It's very versatile as well 👏. I have an Angolan military pancho
Thanks brother! You can use it for a lot of things...
you could tie a cloth hitch around the hood using the ridgeline you have, retie the ridgeline and this would hold out the roof and provide more space.
True. I didnt bother with the hood for this test though

Mine is not new and it is not showing any signs of rot. I guess it matters where and how they were stored...
