I like your suggestion for changing the font on the work. I have tried it and I am amazed at how different my paper seemed after reading it a different way. Also letting your brain breathe a little in between reading/proofing does help a lot. Thanks for sharing! I plan on using all of these tips when working on my paper this semester!
Great video Denise, I’ve done all of your tips and think I’m in need of a professional now. I’ve actually read through my book over 20 times you know 🙊 I’m finding it difficult to find a good proof reader though 😬 hope you’ve had a great day 😊
You mentioned letting the paper breathe. That is good advice. It reminded me of when I struggled to write a paper on a really dry subject in Ethics. I went back and forth with it for a few days. It was just one of those times when you are not interested in the subject. It actually made me tired of trying to write it, and I missed a lot of stuff. I took a break from it for a day and came back and corrected it.
This is the best proofreading video I have found on TH-cam.

Agreed. Hard to find good editor or proofreader. Lots of people claim they can do this, but can’t.
Merci beaucoup, Madame Denise.
Great tips Denise
Andy Brown thanks, Andy!

All is good, but for me, the ruler tip was the best.

Make several passes - and I’ve got a 99,000 word novel. Not happy.
