Never having used a trail cam th-cam.com/users/postUgkx2sTDdZXomuxedMg_HothfjSXjR3rpPkA before, I was very impressed with the quality of the images and videos. The sensitivity of the camera can be adjusted as well as the length of video recordings. Once I found the sweet spot, I was getting great clips of deer and other animals almost every day. I was worried about battery life but have been running off the same 4 aa batteries for over a month. The SD card is easy to remove and connect to a computer. I have a Mac, and the AVI files open natively in QuickTime and are easy to save and share. This is a great, budget-friendly trail cam.

Hi ,I'm trying to delete data from my SD card over my loptop according to your instructions I right click on the DCIM folder in order for the delete option pops up but it doesn't show me no delete option after right click it .ty
Try left click and then hit delete on the keyboard

Hey boss. I deleted the folder on my card and now when I put the card in (mine laptop uses usb drive: D ) as I need a usb device to plug into my lap top and from there I put my as card into the device as I have no usb slot. Since of deleted the folder of pictures and reused my trail camera - I went to check more pictures now nothing is on there - meaning I can no longer see a folder. It’s gives me a reading “please insert a disk into usb drive” when it’s clearly plugged into the D drive. Any advice ?
Try resetting the computer. Also try formatting the card.

if I just throw my SD card in a dumpster, do you think it'll be lost forever? or do they go through the info of SD cards they find in the garbage? (it's an SD card from a Kodak camera, and it's like fifteen years old)

When I right click there is no delete option. There is copy but no delete. Could it be write protection if so how do I turn it off?

You can delete the pictures from the SD card and they will still be in your pictures folder on the computer.
Will this clear the SD card allowing you to take more Photos and videos?

Hey all. I've been using one of these cameras to catch a stalker who is terrorizing my mum in her home. I believe he has found the camera and deleted the data without deleting the record - 0mb but the file still exists. Is this possible?
So you have an empty folder?
@@BackyardBroadheads No. The folder has files. But it looks like the camera doesn't like to record in the dark. Hence 0MB at some times. Looks ok during the day. I'll take it back on warranty.

How do you retrieve deleted videos please?
On a windows PC you could restore the computer to a previously saved point or look for a recycling bin.
On a MAC you should look in the trash or restore to a previously saved point.
It won't delete. In 📂 Dcim
