When I was once listening to Ikako, I was reminded by the frontliners in the US who committed suicide. The articles about them said that these frontliners carry a heavy burden for failing to save lives one after another. They feel deep uncertainty and hopelessness. They feel fear of themselves and their coworkers, family and friends getting sick. A L some of my friends dislike sb19 because they stand by their decision na they “hAtE kPoP” and they always will. ilang beses ko nang in-explain sa kanila na they’re a p-pop boy group but they just won’t listen. sarado utak nila kapag naghe-hate and me being the bunso, hindi ako makalaban and ‘di rin kasi ako pala-salita. pero tama ka kapatid!! our boys are doing great, all we can do is support them along the way. salamat kapatid, stay safe!

"Ikaw" + "Ako" - represents the unity between people as we cooperate with one another to fight this pandemic.
"Ika ko" - literally meaning "I say" (or "I said") as in this song has a message of hope for the people, evident in the line "*Ibig ko lang ipahiwatig* na basta may pag-ibig sa puso nati'y magwawagi."

Believe me or not, this song is a savior. Not just for our frontliners but to those who are continuously fighting with depression. The meaning of the song is deep, anyone can be a subject. Thank you for this! A song of HOPE indeed.
That was what I was saying.. Well, I was thinking of frontliners, but frontliners fighting depression. When I was once listening to Ikako, I was reminded by the frontliners in the US who committed suicide. The articles about them said that these frontliners carry a heavy burden for failing to save lives one after another. They feel deep uncertainty and hopelessness. They feel fear of themselves and their coworkers, family and friends getting sick. I said I wish they'd heard the song Ikako, coz the lyrics are speaking to them, as if in a very personal way:
