To me, this is one of the most emotional, best written and well played scene in the entirety of SoA, and one of the most memorable dialogues on the series.
This relationship was GENIUS, showing that true love sees not physical appearance, gender, race or religion, Kurt Sutter is an amazing creator, if this was his idea, hats off, of all the couples I've ever seen in any show, this out ranks them all by far, absolute unequivocal LOVE.

THIS is true artistry at its finest. For straight actors to be this damn dedicated to their craft and not let their own sexuality and sense of self get in the way of making sure their performance was just as real and possible as any other love scene...gives me hope in humanity. These two gave it their all...and i would not be surprised if after they said "CUT"...that there were behind the scenes crew members screaming "GOD DAMNIT! WHO IN THE HELL IS CUTTING ONIONS IN HERE?!"

I'm from Germany and checked out TH-cam a little bit before season 7 was going to be shown on TV here and I knew something like this was coming but I was not prepared for THIS! So great. Whoever chose to shoot it in the dark was genius. The reflection of the light enhanced the welling of tears in their eyes as they just... broke down. Really well-produced and acted! The last 15 minutes of this episode, from Althea and Chibs to Tig and Venus to Gemma and Nero to Wendy, Jax and Abel was one of the best cuts of the whole series.
They had the most stable, genuine relationship on the show. Venus saw Tig for who he was and loved and accepted him and Tig saw her for the amazing person she was and he loved her, maybe more than he had ever loved anyone.
The writing and acting of that scene finally leap frogged all pre conceived notion of gender or orientation. It was my favorite of the series. Finding a way to get 2 people together that have never felt anything real together was genius.

to be honest, I absolutely loved this show but, when this storyline started happening, I didn't think it had a place in this type show & really didn't like it. As it starting going and their personalities drew me in and the humour they brought to it, I changed my mind. When Tig stayed over & woke up to see Venus without the makeup and female characteristics that made her beautiful, Tigs reaction to her broke my heart. When Tig returned that night and they had the talk, I cried like a baby. Those 2 actors did such a fantastic job portraying their characters, it drew you in like everything else and made it real. I'm so glad I stayed open-minded about it and gave it a chance. BRILLIANT, ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT
Two of my favourite characters EVER. I don't think I would have ever forgiven Kurt Sutter if they had not ended up together. I did not love the show as much, during the last two seasons. I thought it had become a tad unrealistic, the body count had become stupidly high, without them all being caught, etc. but this beautiful love story kept me watching.
I love how their relationship isn’t a stereotypical one. No effeminate overtones or sexual deviance just love of two people where how masculine you are doesn’t matter
While maybe not realistic by itself, looking at the whole picture, it's quite a beautiful look into what love should be. Tig, a womanizing outlaw biker and a transgender woman are two people whose lives are just plain fucked up and both see beyond the casing around the soul and just see the soul. It's been said that SoA has some biblical undertones such as the homeless woman who appears throughout the series being Jesus in the form of the woman that died in John Teller's "accident". Looking at this from a Biblical standpoint, it stands to reason in my opinion, that this scene and love affair is showing that love is love and doesn't see color, sexual preference, gender, etc. That the ultimate in "abomination" according to religion is untrue. That even people like them can love each other. I could be reading too deep into this but if that's even remotely what the relationship between Tig and Venus is saying, then Kurt Sutter is a genius in how he wrote this scene. All in my humble opinion, of course.
It's been about 2 year since I finished watching all of Sons, but this scene is still just so beautiful. I'm a cis woman, i'm straight, and this scene brings me to tears because of how touching it is, anyone who thinks there is something wrong with this, with this love, is just a sad human being. This love is like any other love and it is beautiful.
That scene where they finally admit their was beautifully done, some grade A acting and writing. Brought a tear to my eye lol. And then later that same episode Jax's kid drops the bomb his mother killed Tara lol
This was such a great scene. Both of these actors are pros and they nailed it here. Definitely didn't see this coming. I hope that the club loves each other enough to not kill Tiggy for this down the road.

The only sad thing about this beautiful pair is that we all know there's the tiniest possibility of them having a long happy life ahead. The rumours of tig and venus had already reached the streets and I bet venus would be met by a cruel, tragic death unless she leave far away :( and all of that just makes these two the more sweet a couple.

Tig is the most craziest of all thr SOA but not because of how brutal he fights, but because he dosent hide his emotions with sex or anger, What drew me was he was insane with who he liked and how he fights, BUT now I know better towards the end. Hes the weird one whos the MOST stable, Think about it, Jax wanted all he could for his sons but many times he sidetracked and even lost control at the end only to relized hes now the monster and accepted what he must do, Gemma being a strong women who cared so much for her family and club was almost the destruction of it at the end. Chibs who a comedian but also a great brother has female issues and in most cases was the one ready to enter the battlefield because he was an IRA soldier whos seen children killed and lived half his life not watching his kids grow. As for Opie... I love him so much but even he ranks unstable above Tig when he lost Donna because of Clay even if Tig pulled the trigger it killed him, He knew the club was bad but stayed even after losing his First wife, His dad... To finally himself, Only to protect Jax who at that day, Lost his mind about what the club needed.
This is one of Walton’s best rolls he is such a great unrated actor Kim coats is a good actor too but Walton can play any roll and him playing venus showed us how great he is plus he had to make out with tig poor venus lol

I despise the idea of transgenderism and everything that comes with it but tig and Venus was different, it wasn’t political and pushing some agenda like right now, it really was just love. To this day it’s the only time I’ll support anything transgender but Venus and tiggy was awesome. And Venus was fucking hilarious 😂 Tig was a very rough and nasty character but deep down, Tig always cared deeply for his club and his other loved ones. It was something you didn’t expect to see him be so vulnerable but with someone you wouldn’t expect considering how he’s often homophobic lol. I rather liked the relationship.

It's been said that SoA has some biblical undertones such as the homeless woman who appears throughout the series being Jesus in the form of the woman that died in John Teller's "accident". Looking at this from a Biblical standpoint, it stands to reason in my opinion, that this scene and love affair is showing that love is love and doesn't see color, sexual preference, gender, etc. That the ultimate in "abomination" according to religion is untrue. That even people like them can love each other.
I could be reading too deep into this but if that's even remotely what the relationship between Tig and Venus is saying, then Kurt Sutter is a genius in how he wrote this scene.

It's been about 2 year since I finished watching all of Sons, but this scene is still just so beautiful. I'm a cis woman, i'm straight, and this scene brings me to tears because of how touching it is, anyone who thinks there is something wrong with this, with this love, is just a sad human being. This love is like any other love and it is beautiful.

The only sad thing about this beautiful pair is that we all know there's the tiniest possibility of them having a long happy life ahead. The rumours of tig and venus had already reached the streets and I bet venus would be met by a cruel, tragic death unless she leave far away :( and all of that just makes these two the more sweet a couple.

Tig is the most craziest of all thr SOA but not because of how brutal he fights, but because he dosent hide his emotions with sex or anger, What drew me was he was insane with who he liked and how he fights, BUT now I know better towards the end. Hes the weird one whos the MOST stable, Think about it, Jax wanted all he could for his sons but many times he sidetracked and even lost control at the end only to relized hes now the monster and accepted what he must do, Gemma being a strong women who cared so much for her family and club was almost the destruction of it at the end. Chibs who a comedian but also a great brother has female issues and in most cases was the one ready to enter the battlefield because he was an IRA soldier whos seen children killed and lived half his life not watching his kids grow. As for Opie... I love him so much but even he ranks unstable above Tig when he lost Donna because of Clay even if Tig pulled the trigger it killed him, He knew the club was bad but stayed even after losing his First wife, His dad... To finally himself, Only to protect Jax who at that day, Lost his mind about what the club needed.
This is one of Walton’s best rolls he is such a great unrated actor Kim coats is a good actor too but Walton can play any roll and him playing venus showed us how great he is plus he had to make out with tig poor venus lol

I love the couple that Venus and Tig make, hehehe I don't know how a certain friend I went to skiing with would take it with you, she has done it for competing with me, I'm not that twisted, 😇. I had to add music to help keep it up here - copyrights are tricky but with the edits and music added I'm not actually playing the scene as shown in the episode and usually Networks are cool with that - calling it free advertising for them. I despise the idea of transgenderism and everything that comes with it but tig and Venus was different, it wasn’t political and pushing some agenda like right now, it really was just love. To this day it’s the only time I’ll support anything transgender but Venus and tiggy was awesome. And Venus was fucking hilarious 😂 Tig was a very rough and nasty character but deep down, Tig always cared deeply for his club and his other loved ones. It was something you didn’t expect to see him be so vulnerable but with someone you wouldn’t expect considering how he’s often homophobic lol. I rather liked the relationship.
