When Theo talked about being together so intensely for 8 years, it reminded me that an actor I worked with (I'm a retired audio book producer), once said that working on a long series is like being at high school, again - a whole lot of people who mostly don't know each other, and/or haven't chosen to be with each other, coming to the same place, every day, for years, but even more intense because every individual there is responsible for everyone getting good grades on a single, enormously complicated group project! 😂 All the dynamics play out: the main cast are the good looking, (seemingly) confident kids, around which everything circles; guest actors and new actors have to learn to fit in like new kids do; the A/V club kids and the theatre tech kids are the techies and props people but with more confidence because it's their career, now; the directors and producers are the teaching staff who you may or may not like but you have to take direction from; and if it's a generational series like a soap (she was specifically talking about "Neighbours"), within the stable cast there will even be age and experience based groups, just like year levels.

His "insane rants" are in fact eloquent, brutal, passionate, extremely warranted expressions of his politics. There's no contradiction there. What's "insane" are the people he excoriates in those "rants".

I remember in my early 20’s working in the “industry”. I was working actually for a rental company, rented out lights for studios. But near by, actually across from one of my co-workers , dad’s workshop , they would film the Club scene. Samcro club was in Sun Valley on a dead end street. Right off the 5 fwy I believe.
The Wire and Sons , I personally think are the two greatest tv series of all time. People talk Thrones , TWD or Breaking Bad and none of them come close to THAT scene with CLAY or OPEY. Maybe cos I like metal, bikes and whisky but something about this cast was perfection to me. I loved and hated all which made it so great.
The talent these 3 have! Ron Pearlman has had some bad@$$ movies the last couple years...u notice how many of these SOA and Mayans MC characters are in new movies/shows ?! Love it all🤘🛵
The tenor of the show followed Juice's demeanor. First season, Juice was goofy and fun -- as was the season. Then when Juice's storyline became darker, so did the entire show. I cried so much after each death, which is a credit to Kurt and his team of writers. This was one of the only shows my late husband and I would watch together.
I can see why the sixth and final seasons were grueling. It was pretty intense from a viewer vantage point, so Im sure it was hard on the cast and crew.
I think they could easily do it again. Making a prequel. "First 9", maybe when Jax was prospecting / coming up. I mean they have plenty of options for things they could do with the show.
Yeah, that's the show I always wanted to see, even if it's only a limited series, which is probably the best way to do it, that way they don't add too much ruining things from the og show. I haven't watched the spin-off yet, is it any good? (if you've watched it of course)

Yeah, for some reason, back then, F-bombs weren't allowed on SOA. I mean, sure, you heard them said "Shit" or "Goddamn" but they're still tame in comparison to "Fuck"
FX went through a phase until about 2017 They brought the F Bombs back on the Cult season of AHS, then the next year when Mayans started I'm glad they did so because it's weird to have a gritty show with rough bikers who fight cartels, white supremacists and other bikers, but still wouldn't cross the line with extremely vulgar language 😂
Hi, i understand what he was saying. I remember a job I had and a place that I lived that only when I moved to a different job and location did I recognised how stressful a situation it had been. When you are in it it can be difficult to see it.
I got to be on set for all of Season 4 as the Manny for the (adorable) twins that played baby Thomas. Being there ruined the show for me because I was already a fan. But now I had all these “savage bikers” coming by the trailer, asking if Mia or Ella was in. Then I’d have to watch these Billy badasses goo-goo, ga-ga and play with the girls in such sweetheart ways… I couldn’t believe their characters anymore, cause everyone was SO amazingly nice. Ron Pearlman being complimented for his politics and being called an eloquent man has me cracking up. They've clearly not seen any of Ron's insane rants regarding politics.
Insane rants... have you heard the people he's talking about?
His "insane rants" are in fact eloquent, brutal, passionate, extremely warranted expressions of his politics. There's no contradiction there. What's "insane" are the people he excoriates in those "rants".
@@ubahfly5409 my favourite part is when ron perlman talks about pissing on his hands and touching all the door handles and shaking hands with Trumps customers then calling trump pissy pants on twitter. hes clearly fucked in the head
Is this where you got the idea for Talkville? cause if so that is incredible and I love it! I am all caught up with Talkville and watch every Wednesay and now I gotta watch all of Reaper Review my goodness.
I feel like a piece of me died when this show ended
the trauma us sons fans went through lmao, to this day, sons stays in my top 5
Met Ron, not cranky at all, very down to earth, meeting Theo and Ryan next march
I loved BB but Sons is more interesting to me, I don't understand why it's not as famous as BB
@@ArielAriel-rg8ngI think breaking bad is slightly better but they’re on the same level in my opinion both easily make my top ten
Ive seen all the movies Tig was talking about and recently. And still only recognize him from Sons 😳
i met mark boone and tommy flanagan last year it was sooo surreal
The talent these 3 have! Ron Pearlman has had some bad@$$ movies the last couple years...u notice how many of these SOA and Mayans MC characters are in new movies/shows ?! Love it all🤘🛵
It was such an incredible show. I hope that Charlie Hunan can put together the reprise of Jax Teller and include these guys!
How would like work though, like he survived running into the semi?
Jax is dead
Of course David Labrava knew how to ride
I like how Kim said Ron Pearlman was cranky on set 😂 I remember reading him and Kurt Sutter, the show runner, had beef towards the end lol
Opie death killed me I cried hard very few times on a show it was like he was my brother
His death in the show stayed with me for a while , ugh just everything about from all aspects was deep , and horrible .
Watching SoA feels like Halo Reach
Ron Perlman is way too old now. Taking new actors would just break everything
No way charlie was brilliant in sons , and 99% of people had tears in their eyes when it ended, but everyone of them guys made sons so fucking good
Can't wait to see what they do with the first 9 and Able and Thomas.
1:16 wasn't Kim Coates Character on Sons of Anarchy I forgot didn't his Character Swing for the Same Team him and Walter Scoggins Characters on the Series?! And it's Real Rare for me to an interview With Kim Coates not in Villain Persona he seems like a real great Guy Still remember him from last Boy Scout 1991 alongside Bruce Willis as the Antagonist?! Aw K Coates is a Sincere Class act totally different from the Roles he plays wow it's amazing really!🤔😳👍🏽😃
It was one of the only shows that me and my dad and my brother and even my oldest sister would sit down and watch every new episode on TV we never did that especially after Netflix had come out and it was amazing it was a great show of course if you knew what it was based off of you knew exactly how the ending of the story was going to be it was just how were we going to get there.
The biggest problem with SoA was how it inspired an entire generation of posers
The only issue I have with SoA was how they replaced "Fuck" with "Jesus Christ". It was absurd. Mayans is so much better with "Fucks".
Never notcied that
What a weird issue to have about it tbh lol
Yeah, for some reason, back then, F-bombs weren't allowed on SOA. I mean, sure, you heard them said "Shit" or "Goddamn" but they're still tame in comparison to "Fuck"
There were sure a lotta jc's on SOA for sure.
FX went through a phase until about 2017
They brought the F Bombs back on the Cult season of AHS, then the next year when Mayans started
I'm glad they did so because it's weird to have a gritty show with rough bikers who fight cartels, white supremacists and other bikers, but still wouldn't cross the line with extremely vulgar language 😂
Sounds like Sons of Anarchy wasn't problematic at all. Sounds like making it was mostly great, with the occasional injury.
Absolutely the best show ever. This cast could not have been better. It will never happen again, heartbreaking and sweet😊
Lol
Hi, i understand what he was saying. I remember a job I had and a place that I lived that only when I moved to a different job and location did I recognised how stressful a situation it had been. When you are in it it can be difficult to see it.
Watch the show Bad Blood if you wanna see Kim Coates in his glory 👍🏻👍🏻
Fuckin kick ass show!
Loved that show.
That show is badass
The second anyone says Perlman’s eloquent and they love his politics in the same sentence, says a lot about your mental state.
Took a while to get going, but SOA really found something special.
Kim Coates is such an awesome and sweet man.
SONS is the single greatest show ever made in my humble opinion
Try breaking bad
@@OreoGamingLADHD I’ve done breaking bad twice it’s pretty great but not SONs
Macky would kick Jaxs ass. I'll die on that hill lol
Sopranos
The shield is better
Sons was legit one of the GOATed shows
Love these guys
I got to be on set for all of Season 4 as the Manny for the (adorable) twins that played baby Thomas.
Being there ruined the show for me because I was already a fan. But now I had all these “savage bikers” coming by the trailer, asking if Mia or Ella was in. Then I’d have to watch these Billy badasses goo-goo, ga-ga and play with the girls in such sweetheart ways… I couldn’t believe their characters anymore, cause everyone was SO amazingly nice. Tommy was effin awesome 🇺🇸🏴💪🏼
But Ron Perlman… I’d pay a lot of money to get him inside a locked cage.
Juice is my favorite character...he was in Jericho too.
Love Theo especially in these interviews wow. Clearly so much love and appreciation for the experience even despite the real challenges he described. Mad respect for him, his performance as Juice was layered and evolved
One of my favourite shows of all time, just finished it the other day for the second time. Love these guys
Ron Perlman is my guy. Such a good voice.
MAJOR, COMPLETE AND TOTAL POWER TRIPPING DCIK FACE in real life.
Juice is also the only character that has an iPod mount on his motorcycle
Love it as a kid now have my own bike just finished rewatching it still just as good
You watched SOA as a kid?!!?
Juice really got it “in the end”…
😃😃😃
The Last Boy Scout Boooyyyaaaa Babbbbyyy! Never forgot his character.
A bunch of theater boys gaslit themselves into thinking they were a real MC. 😆
......I think they're just actors who loved their job my guy. it's not that deep
@@KendegohLucavi except there are multiple accounts from the cast and crew that some actors got way too into it and started acting like tough guys and Divas. Kurt Sutter and Katy Segal both have publicly made statements about it.
@@proudsaiyanprince2651 sound like a bunch of dedicated thespians to me
Never thought I would like a show about motorcycle gangs 😮. ❤it. Great characters. Excellent casting.
criminally underrated show.
I didn’t recognize Theo with hair for about 15 seconds. Then it clicked.
