Certainly this presentaion was better than the others iv'e seen. But saved are to live as a new creation, having been born again. If they only get to the other side of the pit via the cross but have no life when they get there then they will go back to where they were before. So Sin = Death, all have sinned, after death comes judgment. Those Repenting, turning from sin to faith in Christ are born again. New birth mean a new begining with the spirit of Christ. The Christian has been adopted into God's family and is a child of God calling God Father, having the spirit of the Son. Rom 8. Then there is the walk. Working out salvation with fear and trembling (being santified) Going through various trials and tribulation. Then come the glory. for if we suffer with him we shall also be glorified. Tom Wilson, you are correct believers are judged for the good and bad they have done for Christ after being saved at the judgement seat of Christ (2 Cor 5:10 and 1 Cor 3:12-15). A judgement of rewards, not punishment. I think a more accurate word for the point in the video is "Condemnation, or eternal punishment for sins, that we are not judged as believers per Romans 8:1 and others.
Why use the word "listen" instead of "repent"?? Jesus said, "I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish" Luke 13:3. See also Mark 1:15 and Acts 20:21. Repentance is integral to a solid Gospel presentation.
I believe he is referring to Jn 5:24 where it says: "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life."
Repent is not mentioned once in the Gospel of John. Repentance is a change of mind metanoia in the Greek. We are saved by faith not stopping sinning. Have you stopped sinning if you saying you have to turn from all your sin to be saved then we are all doomed to hell. Romans 5:1 justified by faith.. You need to trust or place your faith in Jesus Christ and that he died for your sins according to the Scriptures and that he was buried and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures. That's what we have to believe to be saved. Then sanctification is growth in Christ and in holiness. Not to be saved but because you are saved. Unfortunately not every one does well in this regard. But some do very well through Christ's power. We are saved by faith and we walk by faith.

(2 Peter 3:9)
Jesus made salvation for his people an actuality (Heb 10:14) not a conditional possibility. Men who are dead in trespasses and in sins (Eph 2:1) are incapable of meeting any conditions and thus salvation is by sovereign grace. Faith (Gal 5:22), repentance (Acts 11:18), obedience (Eph 2:10) are all fruits of the eternal life imparted (I John 5:1), not prerequisites to obtaining eternal life.
Acts 17:30. God is not disingenuous. He would never command people to do that which they are incapable of, especially repent (change their mind and turn to Him). This is a real possibility, but not a practical reality for the entirety of the human race as whole, for Scripture also tells us the way is narrow and there be few that find it. We must look at Scripture as a whole, not in isolated bits and pieces. The condition to be met is faith by free will for each individual, not by predestination, such as was taught by Augustine and John Calvin, who confused salvation with service. Stop removing man's individual choice to be be saved. God will not have anyone in heaven who doesn't want to be with Him and vice versa. Spiritual death means separation from God due to sin, not an inability to ever respond to Him again; this incorrect definition of death is an error typical of Calvinism, as it is with other words, such as "sovereign", which they take to mean absolute power and control by removing the human will in practical terms (although Calvinists use semantics to get around this), rather than the right to govern (mete out punishment and give reward).
God's word is powerful and sharper than a double edged sword..the bible is no ordinary book, it's supernatural as God is the author..it is also verified through science and history. The word became flesh and dwelt among us..Jesus is the word of God therefore His words are true..His Spirit dwells within believers and testifies to His truth..We know that we know God's word is true.
WHY, is this called a gospel presentation? ONLY WHAT CHRIST SAYS THE GOSPEL IS, IS THE GOSPEL. No freaking wonder, Christ hasn't returned, his own religion can't bring itself to call the gospel, what Jesus called the gospel, bless their mortal hearts. Mk. 1:14-15, ipse dixit gospel. Mt. 24:14, ipse dixit gospel. Acts 28:31, Paul too, gospel. Stop calling the bridge, the gospel, as long as YOUR savior says it's something else.

Faith (Gal 5:22), repentance (Acts 11:18), obedience (Eph 2:10) are all fruits of the eternal life imparted (I John 5:1), not prerequisites to obtaining eternal life.
Acts 17:30. God is not disingenuous. He would never command people to do that which they are incapable of, especially repent (change their mind and turn to Him). This is a real possibility, but not a practical reality for the entirety of the human race as whole, for Scripture also tells us the way is narrow and there be few that find it. We must look at Scripture as a whole, not in isolated bits and pieces. The condition to be met is faith by free will for each individual, not by predestination, such as was taught by Augustine and John Calvin, who confused salvation with service. Stop removing man's individual choice to be be saved. God will not have anyone in heaven who doesn't want to be with Him and vice versa.
Spiritual death means separation from God due to sin, not an inability to ever respond to Him again; this incorrect definition of death is an error typical of Calvinism, as it is with other words, such as "sovereign", which they take to mean absolute power and control by removing the human will in practical terms (although Calvinists use semantics to get around this), rather than the right to govern (mete out punishment and give reward).

God's word is powerful and sharper than a double edged sword..the bible is no ordinary book, it's supernatural as God is the author..it is also verified through science and history. The word became flesh and dwelt among us..Jesus is the word of God therefore His words are true..His Spirit dwells within believers and testifies to His truth..We know that we know God's word is true.
