    I've done that with pickguards. If they are white I sprinkle baking soda on the super glue. Creates a nice little patch for the cracked or missing area that's hard as nails.

    A new pick-guard is so expensive?

      The owner didn't have the budget and intention to change it. He asked even less then I've done ;-)

    Why not replace the pick-guard? The old one ruins the whole thing…..

      Why always make waste? In Japan there's repairing broken lines in gold. 🤔 ... 😉

      It's called Kintsugi , or Kintsukuroi , literally golden (“kin”) and repair (“tsugi”). Kintsugi is the process of repairing ceramics traditionally with lacquer and gold, leaving a gold seam where the cracks were. The technique consists in joining fragments and giving them a new, more refined aspect.

      Why didn’t you just vinyl wrap the top of the pickguard? It doesn’t even make sense that you did that to the backside

      I think the same...
      So much work for nothing...

    An.. Why would you put a New pickguard on a Genuine relic.. 🤔

    • @djhoneylove5710
      @djhoneylove5710 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because the one that's on there has rust stains, and a pickguard costs $10.

      I don't know... Guitar needed to be "saved", and like the name of the movie "Saving private Ryan" it just poped up in my head :-)
