As we can see with how some of these parents out here in the public reacted to their children actually being murderers, Chris' character seems to be pretty tame in comparison (I haven't seen Defending Jacob yet). Most parents would be uncomfortable asking their child if they did it, and some uncomfortable even approaching the possibility that they did it. The real life examples are so extreme (like Gabby's) it makes shows like this seem less dramatic than they actually are.
I'm sure actors go back and forth for meetings all the time. He could have gone to LA for a couple days and then straight back in Boston. If I was an actor, that's how I would do it, so I could be home more often than not. 😉
Acting is a very vulnerable thing so try not to be anxious knowing someone too deep. Saves you the brain haemorrhage. Stay out of green or black. Tamas.
