Phoenix bow is still my go to dps bow, its super great on Hunter with the ability 2 and 3 👌 Edit also it seems to proc fire shard more often than any other bow 🤷
This is due to a current bug with pets themself, they don't properly update their own crit stats correctly. Currently the crit stats only update on swapping to your hero or when you equip the pet. Equipping your pet while cloaked is active should give your pet those crit stats until you swap or die, even if the cloaked buff runs out. This should get fixed tho.
In general, the ascension tends to be quite straight forward. From my point of view, I would recommend to max out the right, max def rate in mid and whatever defence you are using, choose what you are using most with that hero and max that first (making sure to just get the 20 or low ascension upgrades if they are useful for your build). For the most part, if you are progressing you should be fine with whatever location you put your ascension until you get late game where you in theory should have a good idea of what to do. I am not an expert in this area, this is just my personal opinion which may be useful to you.

Yeah the Phoenix bow has homing. Double Shot has a toned down version of homing as well.

It's a survival shard. You can find it through RNG in any survival map.
If you have godly Orbs, you can turn those into a random survival shard.

How can u make a guide without showing what you do with ascension ?, looked at several of your videos and their all just totaly incomplete!
