Are you able to heat water with only 110 volt? As a Dane we of course uses 240 and 380 volt for major purposes. I had a clothes-dryer-tumbler using 380 volt! And also my Induction Stove, which became very fast by that. I intended to buy an Ultrasonic Cleaner in my major bike-building days (A LOOK racingbike weighing 6,8 kilo and my extreme XTR Mtb, but now I only modify my former SuperlightM6LXBrompton to below 9 kilo, of course with mudguards, as a "Rainy Dane"! As now soon to be 77 my energy level is limited, also according to my wife! Finn. Denmark
Glass jars or containers will work better in a ultrasonic cleaner, they won't "float" as much. You should do a video of "hot" waxing your chain with wax from the same company you got the combo pack from. I think brompton owners will benefits from waxed chains, since they are exposed to the chain more often than a normal non folding bike.
I second this. Will be great to see the whole waxing process as well. I have been very tempted to change to waxing my chains but somehow am not too convinced yet that it is something that suits me. Looking forward to it.
you will get same result by soaking it for 10 minute with a gasoline or kerosene then give a shake for 1-2 minute. same as clean like you use this thing.
Proceed with caution if ANYONE uses this method. Both items are deemed hazardous materials and require proper disposal (ie taking to hazardous waste facility). Please DO NOT dispose of via house drain NOR storm drain.
@@eyeDtenTea no need dispose the gasoline you can keep re using it. the reason gasoline and kerosine is for substitute hot water. it used for dissolved the dirty paraffin from your chain. the deep clean still use soap and water. i never throw away my gasoline coffee filter is enough for strain, then you can reuse it if it evaporate add another gas. does not matter it turn black it still done the job dissolving the dirty paraffin
@@endtimeslips4660 Both are still hazardous to work with and to store. BOTH are EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE. This was used in olden days as solvents. It’s no longer acceptable and highly discouraged. If you value your health, safety and environment, use other methods of cleaning.

14:00 🤔💡😂🤣
For fishing out chains or other stuff I use a chopstick with a magnet at one end 🎣 So hot water doesn't care 😉
Thanks!
Thank you Diane for your support! 🙏🏼
I tot when using Ultrasonic mean we can clean only with plain water. So it’s environmentally friendly ?
Can it remove rust?
Planning to buy a small one in the future.
yes to a certain point, depending how thick the rust is and is it fully covering the item or just spots.

You probably used way too much degreaser in the machine
