      It’s 13.75/8 which is equivalent to 55/32, both numerator and denominator multiplied by 4.

      Thanks for bringing my attention to this part. I should have included the area of rectangle below the triangle.
      Area of triangle 2(.5)/2 + Area of rectangle (2 * 0.5) = 1. Thanks

      That will be the total area under the curve thats the area of the trapezium [{.5*(3/4+1/4)}*2]=1

      Area of triangle 2(.5)/2 + Area of rectangle (2 * (1/4))=1
      Whatever you wrote will sum it up to 1.5

      That was a mistake, actually the square only applies to 2.5 but sir forgot to put brackets for x*2 so the square is also applied to 8. do the calculation on your own you'll get the answer.
