Underpaid. But then again, at those lounges, some of those people are pretty strict on letting people in. I remember in one airport, I went into the lounge (I have a United elite card for work not to mention sometimes I'll fly Business or First class, so I get access to the lounge in many airports) but I remember one time when I went in for about 30 minutes, left for about 10 minutes (to use the restroom and visit a gift shop in the airport, and the same "security" person at the lounge asked to see my ID, even though they had just checked it 30 minutes prior -- it was the same person.
His girlfriend definitely has a lot of love and patience for him! God bless

Pretty sure that's wasn't by choice. Did you see the movie "The Terminal" with Tom Hanks. Pretty sure it was something like that... he was trapped there and couldn't leave.

I have never been more intrigued with a challenge. I wish I could have seen the action. I feel like if it were me doing the challenge I would have messed it up somehow with the ketchup packets. When he got the tickets I thought he would go to hawaii and have a vacation 😅

LAX should be flattered that anyone is willing to spend that much time there.
Imagine if any airport employees watched this video. A whole bunch of people attempting this scam would be getting caught left and right. Plus, it sounds uncomfortable even though stories like this are kind of interesting. It's still a foolish thing to do, though. Also, he missed the whole point of "The Terminal". The man who lived in the airport didn't plan on doing that on purpose. He was under special circumstances, where he had no other choice and if he really paid attention to the story he would've known that.

You can stay in the airport for as long as you like & the cops typically dont bother you for the most part. Only time you may be asked to leave is if they're doing some type of maintenance or if there's a bomb scare.

I was at LAX Yesterday coming home from BNA and it was filled with people.
I have sucessfully snuck into VIP lounges on most airports I have visited, once a man gave me a printout of his boardingcard since he already had it digitally on his phone, just so I could go relax in the VIP lounge, wich was nice since they had a small gym with showers, another time, the employe saw me sitting outside the VIP lounge and asked me if I wanted to go in and grab some free food and coffe, she told me "Just pretend you belong, look bored and blase"

Came through LAX while coming back from my senior high school trip to Hawaii and it was the nicest airport/terminal I’ve been to.

I could live in South Korea's Incheon Airport for a week. Hotel, spas, ice skating rink, many food choices, and super-fast WiFi.
It was probably Deltas lounge. I traveled during covid and stopped over at LAX and with an Amex platinum, its east to ge5 into lounges.

Meanwhile you have Simon Wilson who just walks in the lounges and eats and gets a massage and whatever else he wants haha
