I just wanna say thanks beacause half a year ago in february we got a little toller puppy and we used your videos and tips as inspiration and it helped out a lot! 😁
We are getting our toller in 3 weeks (super excited of course). We love your videos and helpful tips so thank you for your channel. I'm hoping to use a whistle for retrieving purposes, as this was the breeders recommended. We have to watch you pumpkin treats video. Ps love the Sable reference name to Nova Scotia 😀
Hello, Sable.😃We are not the owner of toller but actually (rescued)border collie. We thought your video is very nice and would be helpful for us too, so we will come back to check your video. Greetings from Japan.🐶🎈🐾🍀
Your video's are awesome to watch and an inspiration. We got a 12,5 week old toller called Lilly. Based on the video's and insightful comments, i can see a lot of differences between Sable and Lilly. For example, Lilly is not very food motivated which is hard during training. On the other hand, she does respond rather well to commands without food, and she likes cuddles, toys and verbal rewards. Anyway, thanks for making these video's and I hope you make some more soon :)
Thanks for watching, Gyson! We definitely are planning on making more videos soon - we have had a lot of family-related things pop up recently, so that put a pause on things for a bit. We will be back up and running soon! I'm so glad to hear that the videos have been helpful for you. I can't imagine if Sable weren't food motivated! I'm jealous you have a young pup - I miss that stage! Good luck with Lilly! Let us know if there is any specific topic we could cover that would be helpful for you.
Hi! How exciting! They definitely need a good amount of exercise every day - both mental and physical! We take Sable on 1-2 walks a day and give her PLENTY of mental games/stimulation throughout her day. Hope this helps!
@@ADuckTollerNamedSable thank you so much for your reply that’s very helpful indeed. Do you usually just work from home whilst Sable is in the corner playing with the mental stimulation games you’ve made for her? I’m just wondering how often I would have to come up with different games at home to ensure they’re mentally stimulated at home! Although I can see you posted a few videos about some home made toys which looks amazing :)
@@yingshunlow637 You're welcome! We definitely make sure to give Sable some alone time during her day since we both work from home and didn't want her to have separation anxiety. After she does one of her games, she usually takes a nap. I'd say we do one in the morning and one in the afternoon with a walk in the middle of the day!
@@ADuckTollerNamedSable thank you so much that’s very helpful :) I hopefully will have a toller in a few months time so I will be diligently watching your video for tips! Great job and keep going 👍🏽🙂

That is so kind - thank you Carl! This makes us happy to know that our videos are helping!

@@ADuckTollerNamedSable how to train walking on a leash without using a slip leash or form of punishment, that would be very interesting to watch
sableeee
Where did you get Sable?
Hah, I sometimes lie down instead of high five, too. :P
Glad it's not just me!
Hello :) I'm thinking of getting a toller but was wondering how much they will have to be exercised daily? Thank you!
