Usually it’s Haaland who shits the bed against Liverpool , he’s done it like 3 times already. Usually it’s Nuñez who plays better on the day but today it was the reverse, Nuñez was poor and Haaland was good.
I think a 3 is a little harsh for Nunez, he was not good with offsides and his finishing wasn't good but he did have some opportunities due to his speed. I'd put him at a 5 on the day.

Watching some of our fans already labelling Darwin as a flop is wild because Liverpool have had some truly awful signings over the years. He's frustratingly inconsistent yes but this reeks of recency bias and the fact that we probably did overpay for him, which is more of a problem with the modern transfer market than anything else
NUNEZ running down the wing at pace, he had a great assist, and got himself into goal scoring positions with a lightweight team around him barring Salah. I thought he was one of the only bright stories to come from a game that was a win win game .ie if we won we went through if we lost we saved ourselves for the top 4 battle. I'd have given NUNEZ a 7, if his shots had nestled in the net we'd be talking 9 out of 10. The city goalie took up great positions for both his shots and gave him little to aim at, if he just shot on target the goalie would have claimed both efforts and then you'd b saying he should have done more and positioned the ball wider of d goalie. LFC minus jota, Diaz, Mane are no great team so unfortunately he can only do so much.
I remember All of his shots on goal in previous matches being directed right at the keeper. You can see how he is trying to be able to place his finishes just like he did in the friendly vs Milan. Imo he’s trying too hard and he just needs to just finish instinctly

Honestly, I'm starting to lose patience with Nunez. Gomez has had so many chances to redeem himself, but he's not worth it anymore. Salah managed to finally break the defence vs city which he has strugelled to do the last games against them. But I wanna highlight Chamberlain, he was purely a breath of fresh air for Liverpool and how good he was this game when he came on. All in all, I feel Liverpool still gonna struggle cause they have so many areas that are not optomal anymore. Maybe new owners will fix this tho.

Kinda goes along with the team performances, so it makes sense. It's important to look at the whole team when it comes to criticising an individual innit? It's very rare that ONE player can carry a whole side. They can get 'em out of trouble with a great save, tackle or equalising goal or summat but ultimately it's down to the WHOLE side to be consistent innit?
Surprised on your opinions of fabio and harvey thought they were both unimpressive today. Fabio especially looked off it a number of times in the opening 25 minutes. Honestly, I'm starting to lose patience with Nunez. Gomez has had so many chances to redeem himself, but he's not worth it anymore. Salah managed to finally break the defence vs city which he has strugelled to do the last games against them. But I wanna highlight Chamberlain, he was purely a breath of fresh air for Liverpool and how good he was this game when he came on. All in all, I feel Liverpool still gonna struggle cause they have so many areas that are not optomal anymore. Maybe new owners will fix this tho.

then Mo is 0 . He was invisible , in fact midway through the 1st half I'd begun to wonder if we were playing with 10 men . For me Salah was the poorest player on the pitch & I'm including both sides and the subs . If he hadn't repeatedly given the ball away , between disappearance, I'd mount a strong argument that did ZERO, even the goal which was presented to him on a platter by OX & Darwin, seemed to be a stumble.
