This... helped mend the hole when sayori passed on, i mean like why should a character like sayori die? Too make us feel depressed? Too realise that even if someone who smiles beautifly and acts all sunshine and rainbows is actually a hollow shell of their former self? Regardless this ending is what makes me feel like even if everything is falling apart, and i decide to take the easy way out, remember there is always someone who you're leaving behind.

I'm working on a mod for doki doki that completely overhauls the game. It takes the file changing aspect to the game to a whole new level. You will have to basically race a non-deletable monika to win

My ending got her hanging herself and the game going psycho-horroristic in my second playthrough. Then Yuri stabbed herself as well, Monika revealed who she is, we talked for a while (as in I listened to her in that room), then decided to give her a taste of her own medicine and deleted her just like she did the others, launched the game again to see what it would trigger, she apologized and "restored" everything but herself, but barely a few minutes in, she returned and I got the final ending. All in all, brilliant work, this game. Sayori hanging herself pretty much shocked me and the next playthrough had me standing up to take a break twice.
i was on my PS4 and saw one of those visual novels for free and I thought I'd never tried playing one of those a little romance story that will be fun started up the game i seen the Childhood friend i'll go for her the first play through was doing well she started acting weird I just believed it was because she had a crush then she said she had depression then I found the creepy letter and I went to her room and now I have depression💀

I dont watch anime or play these types of games but I gave it a go because of the great reviews, this game fucked me up, ive been in a slump for the last few days because I got attached to them and then they all died lol, this video (even though its a mod) brought me closure, I hate knowing that Sayori has NO HAPPY ENDING, this made me feel better.
It's a nice mod and it makes my heart happy. Buuuuuut, given everything Sayori says the day before, and given the nature of her depression, having Protag leave the festival, rush over to her house in; one would assume; a state of emotional wreckage, would make the poor girl feel horrible.
I wish this was actually able to happen without a mod, when I saw Sayori hanging for the first time I felt like I was gonna go into a deep depression of my own 😥💔
