  • When I was 25, I gave up on my life.
This is because I met Zen. I'm Japanese but I didn't know about its wisdom at all.
I talked about what I learned from Zen, and how it changed my life.

❤ 1990. I started my journey I practiced Aikido which introduced me to Zen. I love the philology of change and learn to accept pain and let go. We Chicanos “Mexicano Americans”. We are always trying to control everything, but learning let go. I meet Keiko Harada. She belong to Seicho no ie Gardena Ca. I attended class, we had shinsokan and learned about Shinto , buddhmsim and Zen. Zen meditation has been my rock. I am now 60 years old. All my friends are all gone, I am still alive, I am not rich ,but I am still here.. Frank Martinez Downey Ca….

Great video. Zen (曹洞宗) changed my life more than 20 years ago and zazen is part of my everyday routine now. Buddhism and Zen has brought peace and deep understanding in my life. Hope you persist in the Path, because as you know, there's nothing else to look for. Cheers from Brazil

the same for me. But as for my case is about Christianity. No one really pushed me into Christianity and I have no religion and religious denominations. And the moment I started praying and reading the bible, it has really changed my life, and I learned to love more and forgive.
The thing that surprises me is that other Christians are doing the exact opposite of what the word of God actually says, they go to debates, sometimes say insulting words to other people. And that really affects me and made me sad.
And the other side is that non Christian people discriminate Christians so much. or like some Japanese people I heard that they're somewhat afraid of Christianity, and treat it as a cult.
Again it made me very sad.
But whenever I read the bible and what jesus said. It's totally the contrary, and that I should love everyone just as I love myself. ❤
In the end I just close my attention to everything and the negatives, and just learn to love and be understanding more and forgiving more. Going into the righteous path of life.
