Let’s be real, a lot of his earlier opponents like Giant Gonzaléz, King Kong Bundy, Diesel, Big Boss Man and A-Train were some of the worst choices he could’ve gotten for WrestleMania. But instead of just rebooking from the start, I’d also suggest ideas for who he could’ve faced at the three WrestleManias he missed, that being 10, 16 and 35.

My fantasy booking: Undertaker remains Undefeated as we go into Wrestlemania 36, yes COVID hits but we get the greatest cinematic match ever - The boneyard fireflies match. The Undertaker Vs The Fiend, Bray Wyatt retires the deadman, breaks the Streak, And we finally get a passing of the torch moment.
Respectfully I think Taker should lose the streak to Bray either in his retirement match or the one before that. It’s not just a passing of the torch, letting legacy go would be a fitting end to the story of the man with the biggest legacy in the industry. For one match, he would stop being the dead man and just be a man.
Rebooking and not even doing Taker v Fiend and a real feud, mind games, super natural cat and mouse feud between them instead of Bray carrying the feud calling him out which he wouldn’t have had to do if there is no loss to Brock. Gotta start somewhere and beating the streak would give Bray that instant credibility and allow WWE to create a new yearly WrestleMania tradition centered around him. This was fun. I like your booking but I want to put my two cents in. I think if you're not gonna book him to lose to Brock, he should have lost to Roman and then retired. I think a lot of why the Roman win meant nothing is because 1. he wasn't the first to beat him and 2. Taker kept wrestling after the match. If Roman is the one to beat the streak and retire Taker, that just elevates him that much more. I think the response to that would have told WWE they needed to turn him sooner. And as much as I love the Boneyard match, I can sacrifice it for Roman winning and retiring Taker.
Good rebooking. If was the booker i will have Taker retire with is streak because i dont feel no body was worthy but , if i have to book it i will do it like this. So in Mania 30 Taker gets out of the pin then , Lesnar start to beat him and play with him he then does a 4 F5 gets the pin but Lesnar broke the pin to mock the fans and Taker out of knowhere Taker have him in the Hell Gates Lesnar try fight it but he then goes out and put the middle finger to Taker and Taker retain is streak but the match is one of the worst of Taker in Mania. 22-0 then what happen will happen the same with Taker going to the Hospita and then Lesnar comes to RAW he mock Taker and he tell does not care about the streak all he wanted was hurting Taker to get to the WWE champion so Lesnar timeline during 2014 and 2015 stay as the same. Sting debut in WWE like he did and he have the same match with Triple H only that he win over Triple H in Mania 31. Bray will not lose to Cena in Wrestlemania 30 he will win by DQ because of Cena giving a chair shot to Wyatt , they have they're rematch in Extreme Rules with Bray winning and then Payback with Cena this time getting the win against Bray for the first time but Bray character stay stronger. Cena wins the belt and Bray wants a shot against Cena in Battleground he replace Roman on that spot with Cena retaining pinning Orton. Bray then does not lose another 1 on 1 match after that. They make a tournament for Taker streak with Wyatt winning in the finals of Fast Lane then Taker comes , the feud will be for the Streak and this time they have better story. The match is the same as real life only with the streak on the line and Undertaker retain is streak with a 4 Tombstone and is the first wrestler to win over Bray with a pin of count of 3. First RAW after Wrestlemania Sting comes to said that he will now retire and comes Taker chalenging him Sting said no he will have prefer in a past but then Vince comes out that if he wants to enter the Hall of Fame he needs to win it. Sting comes and accept Taker chalenge over the weeks Sting comes to RAW and he gest attack by Bray Wyatt who targget Sting. In Battleground Roman and Bray face in a Ambulance match Sting helps Reing and Bray lost. They have 1 on 1 match Bray vs Sting , Bray beat Sting clean and Sting never have that match with Rollins in Clash of Champion , as for Taker he again face Lesnar like he did in Summerslam 2015 and Hell in a Cell but Lesnar will have win the feud. Taker gets attack by the Wyatt Family then Kane and Big Show as well but they all joins forces to take out the Wyatts wish they did in the PPV with Taker pinning Bray. After that Sting and Taker continue they're feuds and face off so will be a Streak vs Hall of Fame spot. The match happen in Wrestlemania 32 and Sting ends the streak enter to next year Hall of Fame and Taker shakes Sting hands. Next year Wrestlemania 33 he face Cena instead of the squash match he defeat Cena 24-1 he face Roman also he defeat him to be 25-1 then last years of Undertaker happen the same facing AJ and winning over him being 26-1 and Survivor Series he have is last match against Bray Wyatt in a Cinmatic Boneyard match where it ends in a Draw with Taker giving Bray respects.

The Undertaker had to retire eventually and was clearly past his prime by the time the Brock match took place so there was literally no benefit to The Streak not being broken. The Streak was MADE to be broken in order to elevate someone. While I disagree with the decision to have Brock Lesnar be the one to break The Streak as it would've helped a brand new star a lot more than than him, it did still help to elevate his position in the company and put him back on top. I wouldn't say Brock Lesnar is the most dominant champion in history when Roman, Hogan, Pedro and Bruno (not to mention names outside of WWE such as Thesz) all had longer and more profilic reigns than him. However, many still believe that he is the most dominant champion and that probably would have never been the case had he not broken The Streak especially with how he was booked a year prior. The Undertaker's Streak did elevate WrestleMania to even greater heights but WrestleMania has always had aura even without The Streak. Don't believe me? Watch Hogan vs Andre, Hogan vs Savage, Hogan vs Warrior, Hogan vs Rock (okay, I'll stop listing Hogan matches), Hart vs Michaels, Austin vs Michaels, all before The Streak was even really established. If you wanna go beyond that look at Roman vs Cody at WrestleMania XL. Probably the greatest WrestleMania Main Event of All Time (Undertaker vs Michaels at WrestleMania 26 being a close second which is better in terms of match quality but less rewarding for people who had been watching the product for the past 3 and a half years like Cody vs Roman was). The Undertaker is, in my opinion, the Greatest Professional Wrestler of All Time. However, I can acknowledge that, while The Streak may not have been ended by the best candidate, it was still the right place at the right time. The Undertaker was already showing his age in that match and he wasn't going to be able to give us the same level of performance that he could even a year prior. Every Streak match (besides the WrestleMania 36 one) was going to disappoint and likely would have negatively effected the legacy of The Streak. Thus, ending The Streak when they did not only prevented the legacy of The Streak from taking damage but also gave us one last memorable moment which basically made everyone forget just how lackluster the final Streak match was.

Diesel wasn't...terrible, but the rest, agreed. Bossman could've been good but with the booking it was horrible, he did have a certain aura though.

@LukeHansen-0326 If Bray Wyatt had broken The Undertaker's WrestleMania streak, it would have set him up as the next big supernatural stroytelling force in WWE. The idea wouldn’t be for Bray to COPY The Undertaker but to build his own legacy using his unique style of psychological and horror-based storytelling. Gotta start somewhere and beating the streak would give Bray that instant credibility and allow WWE to create a new yearly WrestleMania tradition centered around him. It would also allow The Undertaker to mentor Bray in the following years.
Just to go more into the years following the win since I've been thinking about, Bray would grow darker and more dangerous. He could really evolve The Fiend targeting WWE's biggest names each year. His matches wouldn’t just be about wrestling-they’d be full of mind games, surreal visuals, and storytelling that gets into the heads of his opponents. Each WrestleMania could feature a “victim” who Bray tortures mentally and physically over the months leading to highly anticipated events like facing legends (Sting, Brock Lesnar) or new stars (Roman Reigns, Finn Bálor), making the payoff feel huge.
Over time, he’d develop his own streak, reimagining what The Undertaker brought to wrestling but in a modern way. Finally, a passing-of-the-torch rematch with The Undertaker at WrestleMania would solidify Bray as the next supernatural icon while honoring Taker’s legacy. This would keep fans invested in Bray and give him a long-lasting impact.

He didn't have that aura of taker, and he didn't have taker's in ring presence. there is nobody that taker can pass the torch to because Undertaker is Undertaker and nobody can match the Undertaker's presence. This was fun. I like your booking but I want to put my two cents in. I think if you're not gonna book him to lose to Brock, he should have lost to Roman and then retired. I think a lot of why the Roman win meant nothing is because 1. he wasn't the first to beat him and 2. Taker kept wrestling after the match. If Roman is the one to beat the streak and retire Taker, that just elevates him that much more. I think the response to that would have told WWE they needed to turn him sooner. And as much as I love the Boneyard match, I can sacrifice it for Roman winning and retiring Taker.

The Undertaker had to retire eventually and was clearly past his prime by the time the Brock match took place so there was literally no benefit to The Streak not being broken. The Streak was MADE to be broken in order to elevate someone. While I disagree with the decision to have Brock Lesnar be the one to break The Streak as it would've helped a brand new star a lot more than than him, it did still help to elevate his position in the company and put him back on top. I wouldn't say Brock Lesnar is the most dominant champion in history when Roman, Hogan, Pedro and Bruno (not to mention names outside of WWE such as Thesz) all had longer and more profilic reigns than him. However, many still believe that he is the most dominant champion and that probably would have never been the case had he not broken The Streak especially with how he was booked a year prior. The Undertaker's Streak did elevate WrestleMania to even greater heights but WrestleMania has always had aura even without The Streak. Don't believe me? Watch Hogan vs Andre, Hogan vs Savage, Hogan vs Warrior, Hogan vs Rock (okay, I'll stop listing Hogan matches), Hart vs Michaels, Austin vs Michaels, all before The Streak was even really established. If you wanna go beyond that look at Roman vs Cody at WrestleMania XL. Probably the greatest WrestleMania Main Event of All Time (Undertaker vs Michaels at WrestleMania 26 being a close second which is better in terms of match quality but less rewarding for people who had been watching the product for the past 3 and a half years like Cody vs Roman was). The Undertaker is, in my opinion, the Greatest Professional Wrestler of All Time. However, I can acknowledge that, while The Streak may not have been ended by the best candidate, it was still the right place at the right time. The Undertaker was already showing his age in that match and he wasn't going to be able to give us the same level of performance that he could even a year prior. Every Streak match (besides the WrestleMania 36 one) was going to disappoint and likely would have negatively effected the legacy of The Streak. Thus, ending The Streak when they did not only prevented the legacy of The Streak from taking damage but also gave us one last memorable moment which basically made everyone forget just how lackluster the final Streak match was.
