This is still one of the most fun minigames I've ever seen in my life. I spent so many countless hours on this. It needs it's own full current generation stand alone game. It's that good.

Chess Kombat and Puzzle Kombat could've been great spin-off games for Mortal Kombat, same goes for Kart Kombat. They should seriously bring them back and flesh them out.
This is basically MK's version of Capcom's Puzzle Fighter. The mechanics are even similar. Ah, I love that game.
Playing this against a group of friends in my basement was the greatest thing as a kid.

I personally think this and chess Kombat was a great addition to Deception. I hope they like relaunch it on on psn or something. Would be great. I also think Mortal Kombat Armageddon’s character list would have been a boon here too

nice to see the humble beginnings of this minigame after missing out on the PS2 era of games but got to play this on the DS port of Ultimate MK3 as a bonus extra

Saskue, do you have to do the fatalities in puzzle mode or does the fighter you are playing as do it by themselves? And do the fighters fight by themselves as well?
They fight by themselves as well as the Fatalities.
I remember playing this...
So far I still haven't been able to understand how this game is played. Could someone out there explain? 😢😊

PS: why do you immediately break your breakers? pulling off combo's is not very hard and gives way more blocks to the other player.
