My parents were unpacking and I was playing on the swings with my brothers when a woman and her little girl came over. (Note: we had no idea who they were.) and the little girl looked nothing like her mother. Different eyes different hair. the mother started talking to my mom and step dad she had said "my daughter saw your daughter and wanted a new friend so I thought I would come over." and I talked to the girl. She supposedly went to the school down the street and we'd be in the same class. We got along pretty well. So I brought her to go see my room. She was telling me things like they had a private beach and tennis court at their house etc...Then after awhile we went back outside and talked to her mom and my mom. They had wanted me to go sleep over at their house. Again we had just met these people a few minutes ago. So my parents told the woman and her daughter that I would go over another time we just had to unpack. And we have them our phone number. And the left. We never heard from them again. And when we talked to people from my school about them the denied knowing anybody that matched her description.

Thank you for announcing the sex before the story. So many times things were hard to make clear sense of in the stories because we had to guess. A welcome addition! The first story is pertinent to my life atm. When school is in session, I walk my little girls down to the bus stop. There's this old guy (not too old) who makes a habit of being awake early in the morning and watching the kids as they walk to the corner. He sits behind the fence and watches the children intently, far more intently than any one should - leering over the fence practically. I told the guy he should be careful, he's coming off as a creepy pervert and someone might call a cop about him, making it clear by tone that that someone was likely to be *me* if he didn't become scarce. I think it was effective as I'm a very well-built fella, tall, toned, and intimidating if I want to be - he stopped for the rest of the year. As always, awesome vid LM!

MooMonst3r Well, part of me wonders if it was the right thing or not, simply because it might have wised him up a bit and be more discreet about his perversions. But it was unnerving, especially to the mothers who would sit there talking quietly about him. (I'm the only father who shows up as I'm a single father.) Part of me feels like there was a slight chance he might just be a harmless old man who didn't realize how he was coming off. But what sets me against that thought was the facts that he had painted cartoon characters all over his fence (Bugs Bunny, Mickey Mouse, Pluto, etc) and he always made it a point to bring his pug puppy out when he watched and made sure it could be seen. Almost as if he were baiting for children.

From what I can tell, if he was innocent then it was still good of you to let your concern be shown, especially just by talking to him and not calling the police or anything. But if he honestly had bad intentions, then it still showed him the neighbourhood was watching him and would be willing to defend their kids. Unfortunately without having any evidence proving he's a creep, it was probably the only thing that could've been done, even at the chance of making him sneakier. But, it takes a SUPER creep to move from perving on little kids to a Lazy Masquerade story, so most people would cool down purely from someone speaking up. As it looks like he did!

Jayden Daryls oh..n i have a male cousin who was kidnapped as a young teen. They found him with this creep in a hotel a couple cities away. In the hotel room they also found child porn n videos of my cousin being assaulted & many other young victims too. Then, my own mother (and 2 friends) were all kidnapped when she was 21 by 3 men. They all survived, barely. It's a heinous story. So, yeah, people are kinapped and assaulted all the time. Sometimes they are lucky, sometimes not so much. These days, I rely on my 2 guardian angels to keep me safe....Smith & Wesson!

This just makes me think of my own experience. When I was small we lived in a country town and we didn't have many neighbours. Most of them however had young families except for a single man down our road. I barely remember much about him except for his beard and vaguely some tattoo around his arms. I don't remember interacting with him much except once when he came out to talk to dad, but only my mum I were there at the time. I completely forgot about him. A few years past, there was an announcement of criminal's suicide. I remember that night after the news report, my parents seemed unsettled. I didn't put forward the question why at the time. The following year there was a period of time that brought that same tenseness around, the same time about a book release. A book that talked about a man. A man who had a past assaulting women both old and young, sometimes sexual. His biggest claim to fame was the murder of his ex in which he only spent less than 4 months behind bars for. It was then my parents admitted that book was about our neighbour.

It really saddens me when kids now adults say 'i was a really stupid kid', 'i was dressing inappropriately' (to later proceed to describe an outfit that in no way is out of the ordinary regardless of weather conditions) There is no excuse for a grown ass creep to pursue you and abuse you and of course sexualize you when you are only a kid. kiba11ana142 Well, it's like that really long one where the narrator is stalked by some guy for his whole childhood (I think it's called "Penpal"). There are a number of times where if the mother had just explained to the kid what was going on or even told the police (especially in the 'sleepwalking' event when the police were involved) a lot could've been avoided. However, there are also a number of points when the narrator withheld information from the mother that could've, likewise, saved a lot of misery and maybe even the life of his best friend and his best friend's sister. Then again they're stories and if everyone were fully honest with everyone else the story probably wouldn't go anywhere and there wouldn't be that chilling moment when we (along with the narrator) discover some previously unknown detail that changes the whole story.
Yeah I am not sure that checks out. I guess people do illogical things sometimes. Even if I broke the neighbors knees with the bat, I wouldn't send her back. It feels like you would want to keep her close if it came that close. Maybe the ladder is a bit of embellishnent.
I had a strange idea for dealing with people trying to break in. If they are outside, trying banging on the door and going crazy like you are a wild animal to scare them. I know it sounds out of place, but it should make them think twice before going into your house.

I've nearly watched all of Lazy's videos, but hearing the stories about rape definitely make me the most anxious. I've learn't great tips and life lessons from his videos and I'm certainly over cautious now. Isaac Estrada True to word Samurai Jack rocked. If you want a dark gritty cartoon like that check out The Legend of Korra or Attack on Titan. I know they aren't really cartoons but still. Does anyone remember the Star Wars Clone Wars mini-series before the CGI show? That made the prequels bearable.

This just makes me think of my own experience.
When I was small we lived in a country town and we didn't have many neighbours. Most of them however had young families except for a single man down our road. I barely remember much about him except for his beard and vaguely some tattoo around his arms. I don't remember interacting with him much except once when he came out to talk to dad, but only my mum I were there at the time.
I completely forgot about him. A few years past, there was an announcement of criminal's suicide.
I remember that night after the news report, my parents seemed unsettled. I didn't put forward the question why at the time.
The following year there was a period of time that brought that same tenseness around, the same time about a book release.
A book that talked about a man.
A man who had a past assaulting women both old and young, sometimes sexual. His biggest claim to fame was the murder of his ex in which he only spent less than 4 months behind bars for.
It was then my parents admitted that book was about our neighbour.

I just wanted to say, thank you for posting actual scary stories, I get so tired of the "close call stories that aren't really close calls at all". Being a person who has had truly terrifying experiences it pisses me off when ppl make experiences where pretty much nothing happened into WAY more than they were, so thank you for being real and understanding the difference between something that's a little creepy and actual terrifying incidents.
I don't understand some of the parents in these stories. The fuck? If my neighbor tried to get into my kids room he'd be dead or in jail. My kid would sure know to watch out for him too.
If he went to the cops he would've just got a warning about trespass so I assume he took justice into his own hands.

kiba11ana142 Well, it's like that really long one where the narrator is stalked by some guy for his whole childhood (I think it's called "Penpal").
There are a number of times where if the mother had just explained to the kid what was going on or even told the police (especially in the 'sleepwalking' event when the police were involved) a lot could've been avoided.
However, there are also a number of points when the narrator withheld information from the mother that could've, likewise, saved a lot of misery and maybe even the life of his best friend and his best friend's sister.
Then again they're stories and if everyone were fully honest with everyone else the story probably wouldn't go anywhere and there wouldn't be that chilling moment when we (along with the narrator) discover some previously unknown detail that changes the whole story.

I had a strange idea for dealing with people trying to break in. If they are outside, trying banging on the door and going crazy like you are a wild animal to scare them. I know it sounds out of place, but it should make them think twice before going into your house.

I've nearly watched all of Lazy's videos, but hearing the stories about rape definitely make me the most anxious. I've learn't great tips and life lessons from his videos and I'm certainly over cautious now.
