He is one of the few makeup artist that aren’t black who actively include darker shades in both products and in their social media marketing. It let me know he actually cares about truly being an artist for all. It didn’t feel like an afterthought but as a part of his actual day to day being.
As a makeup artist that has been in the industry for over 20yrs I have followed Mitchell’s rise since the beginning. He is such an inspiration and amazing mua. Its really comforting to hear that he experienced his mum going through alcoholism when he was younger. I am currently going through this situation and some times it is hard to see the other side of it. Hopefully one day the situation gets better for me
