    Don't know why youtube recommended me your video, but it looks slick!

      It's because I used the Golden Ratio on the PCB dimensions (true actually) and then you suddenly become famous and wealthy or something. Actually I have no idea why TH-cam has lost it's mind, but muh... I'll take it. Thanks for nice comment.

    You should build one into a replica "Space 1999" Comlock. Could likely sell such an item for a pretty penny.

      Brilliant comment.Without looking it up, I believe those Comlocks were working (or semi working) units based on real miniature TV technology weren't they? I haven't read up on them in a while, but sure...somebody could shoe-horn this thing into a Comlock prop. It wont be me though. I don't want Viacom or whoever owns the Space 1999 IP after me 😁

      @@megazoid If you check a video on the Comlock replicas that are around you'll see there's plenty of space and the faux TV screen you have is pretty much the perfect size. I think a couple of hero props did have a small CRT TV screen. While you're at it, the original series "Star Trek" tricorder had a small CRT TV screen, though I don't think they were functional, of pretty much the identical size take a look at pictures of them. A one off prop replica build for your TH-cam channel, for personal use, wouldn't get you in trouble but it might well get quite a few views.

    The pads on the lx-lcbst are the vcc and chip enabled pin and if you just went it to be on all the time you can brig them together with at solder join or you can solder a memory/latching switch to them and at resister to ground and you can control the IC

      Thanks for the comment. A visual check shows the "T pads" just connect the battery GND with the Output GND. Something to do with if your battery has a protection board, do something, if not, don't do something. Edit : apparently I have to short them if I have battery protection. Okay, cool.

    Hello, I finished soldering the board and had programmed the esp32 before hand. But after soldering the board, it now doesn’t want to power up. I verified no bridges on the solder connections. And verified that power was being fed. Any help would be appreciated.

    I wonder what kind of reception you would get inside a jet that's 8 miles high? Then I would want Bluetooth for ear buds instead of an on board speaker. The battery could then probably be smaller too.

    Tiny tv seems quite expensive for what it is! Think of the fun you’d miss just buying one! 😅

    • @megazoid
      @megazoid  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The Tiny TV 2 is currently $49 USD on Indiegogo ($61 USD with shipping). I think that's an okay price. It's also way more polished than a DIY job. If you are into soldering, 3d printing and that general scene... 100% make your own one! I think I'm on unit seven now 🤣

    Hello, I made one according to your steps, but the startup shows ERROR:failed to open/Videos/1/44100.acc. May I ask why, memory card tried a few are displayed so

    • @megazoid
      @megazoid  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It could be the cards? Some cards don't work. I have a SanDisk Ultra 32GB that doesn't work. Lexar 32GB from Amazon works, as do others I have tested.
      I could also be that your converted files are just not right. Try using the my MiniTV Converter Software at the bottom of my project on Thingiverse. Make sure you are putting BOTH converted audio and video files in the Videos/1/ folder.

    3-d print case? or u gonna use wood?

    • @megazoid
      @megazoid  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Wood is nice for sure, but a lot of work (and beyond me). Just a 3d printed case using Tinkercad/Blender and an FDM printer.

    Why don’t you just solder a momentary switch to those pads?

    • @megazoid
      @megazoid  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That would be logical. It hasn't messed me around again however, so I'll probably just go for a pinhole.
