I can see the potential but when I use GBUs targets never render beyond 15km, at which point I am already in the drop zone.. so it feels kind of pointless.
@@EnderGhost119 you no longer need to get the “POINT” promo to know to drop. You can now fly at alt and just keep flying drop the bomb and once it gets within 7klicks it will auto pick up the point.
I don't think it works in Sim. I've been trying it on the Mirage 2000-5F and the CCRP just doesn't show up on the HUD no matter what. Apparently one way around this is to take a dumb bomb with you since that lets you use CCRP.
For top tier, I don’t think it’s going to be huge. However, for planes with GBUs below 10.7 (Jaguar is my main exemple), it’s going to be huge, to kill AA from extremely high (above 8km) so they can’t shot you back Also, if the new missiles/bombs that are coming to the mirage 2000-5F are CCRP compatible, it’s going to be a menace even for pantsir. It could lobe that TV guided missile from so far away, then instantly go under cover, so that if the AA is not aware, it will get destroyed pretty easily and safely
@@jmaddy3 that’s indeed only if the AA is not aware, but I think it’s doable if the plane stays as far away as possible and only show up on radar for a few seconds to lock, lobe and launch the missile

Do you know what we need? A third person view of the laser or TV targeting system. For example, if we can have a third person view of gunners on bombers, we can have a third person view with the laser circle down on the ground below us and mark a target that way.
Just like with gunners, the aircraft will maintain its flight, trajectory, or return to level if you have that setting engaged. And then you can aim the laser in the style of how are you in gunners.

already in the game... for example MiG-19 and Jaguar are not same as MiG-21 / 23 / 29 or F-4 / 14 / 16

Ccrp is practically useless until they fix the bug with bomb series where it drops all your bombs at once

Thats if the pantsir cant shoot it down, like with the agms and stuff only gbus so far are immune to pantsir and spaa missiles

It was only a thing for normal unguided bombs, for the guided ones its been added rn, its even in the changelog of the dev server :)
