My wife and I visited the Holy Land, Jerusalem, Bethlehem and Jesus' baptismal site. We learned much, and our guides were Muslim, so they educated us too. Such a culture shock for Americans--the pre-dawn call to prayer in Petra was beautiful! I want to go back, everybody was so nice and there was so much we didn't see. Hardly any wooden buildings, especially in Amman. Dates right off the cluster in Jerico--so delicious! Temperatures just like Northern California in the summer, well over 105 degrees. Great video, sparking memories
I'm from Greece. I visited last year. I loved the people......My phone died and I could not get back to my hotel. I was walking and in tears as I left my wallet at the hotel. A religious man that worked or owned a shop asked me why I was crying. He closed his shop and drove me to the hotel. I was petrified I would be murdered but I felt I had no choice......I will never forget the man. Bless Israel and its people.
I have visited Israel in 2019/2020 from North to South in a rented car with a friend. We both felt very safe, unlike many countries we (2 women)have visited. I was mesmerized by the beauty, the people, the historic and religious very well preserved sites. As a Brazilian Christian I feel so thankful to the effort for keeping and guarding those wonderful sites. No country has left me with this amazing cultural impressions. Viva Israel ✨🇮🇱✨
@AnnaRNC Like you I visited Israel as well and saw with my own eyes how Israel treats other minorities like Muslims and Christians the way Nazis treated the Jews in the 1940s
The first falafal I ever ate on my first trip to Israel was at a small sidewalk cafe on Dizengoff Street in Tel Aviv. It was great! Ive been to Israel quite a few times on business trips over that past 40 years. Ive had many conversations with the locals about our different cultures and customs and to this day, consider 4 of them as personal friends. It's a great place to visit or take a vacation. Not at all like what I supposed it would be the first time I went there.
I have traveled to Israel twice to study Christian events and biblical events. I love Israel and the Jewish people. I pray for them and as a Christian I look forward to the return of Yeshua the Christ.

Hebrew and Aramaic are read from right to left only, not up and down. Also, the notes in the Western Wall are brought to the Mount of Olives twice a year to be buried, not burned.
And I should add that the Aramaic language is not only spoken in Syria, but it is used as a central and main language in the studies of the Talmud since the Babylonian exile until today!

@@patriciakimball8150 Thanks for adding these small details. I just forgot to teach the entire lesson!😊. The various number of branches on the menorah confuses many people, as it did me. A crash course on history of the PALESTINIAN STATE: 1. Before Israel, there was a British mandate, not a Palestinian state 2. Before the British Mandate, there was the Ottoman Empire, not a Palestinian state. 3. Before the Ottoman Empire, there was the Islamic state of the Mamluks of Egypt, not a Palestinian state. 4. Before the Islamic state of the Mamluks of Egypt, there was the Ayubid Arab-Kurdish Empire, not a Palestinian state. 5. Before the Ayubid Empire, there was the Frankish and Christian Kingdom of Jerusalem, not a Palestinian state. 6. Before the empire of Alexander the Great, there was the Persian empire, not a Palestinian state. 15. Before the Persian Empire, there was the Babylonian Empire, not a Palestinian state. 16. Before the Babylonian Empire, there were the Kingdoms of Israel and Judah, not a Palestinian state. 17. Before the Kingdoms of Israel and Judah, there was the Kingdom of Israel, not a Palestinian state. 18. Before the kingdom of Israel, there was the theocracy of the twelve tribes of Israel, not a Palestinian state. 19. Before the theocracy of the twelve tribes of Israel, there was an agglomeration of independent Canaanite city-kingdoms, not a Palestinian state. 20. Actually, in this piece of land there has been everything, EXCEPT A PALESTINIAN STATE. (Borrowed from a friend) A little more history for those wanting to 'restore Palestine'. In 132 AD the Emperor Hadrian resolved to stamp the Jews and their religion out of existence. He sold all Jewish prisoners into slavery after the revolt of Bar Kikhba, forbade the teaching of the Torah, renamed the province Syria Palaestina, and changed Jerusalem’s name to Aelia Capitolina. He renamed Israel to wipe out the national identity of Israel and the Jews. So if you are looking to 'restore Palestine to the Palestinians', you need to give it back to the Jews.
as an israeli citizen..one thing about the kosher food. its not that it isn't allowed there are many places serving non kosher food especially in tel aviv and haifa (and lots of arab vilages) there are non-kosher supermarkets too (russian or arabic mostly) and yes you can get pork here :)

Always been on the bucket list to visit sounds like a lovely place with lovely people but as always when there is religion there's trouble as an atheist I never understand the hatred it brings with it but at the same time it respect people's beliefs I wish everyone in Israel good life
Please, many Jews are practically atheistic and the religion is not about faith so much as observing the law. Anyway, Jews are usually cool with other religions as long as they’re not trying to convert us.
Awesome video and narrative. However, you failed to emphasize the significance of Shabbat; the day of rest. From midafternoon Friday until Saturday night the whole country shuts down. Shops, restaurants, historical sites, etc., are closed. There is little public transportation. Tourists need to be aware and plan accordingly.
What I like about October I was born October 14th 1967 that day fell on Yom Kippur I am so thankful to hashem Gregorian calendar this day comes around every 76 years I was born in America so that's pretty special.🎉 Even though this Jewish lunar calendar is consistent ❤ thank you hashem
I don't know a single person who has gone to visit Israel and who has not returned enchanted by the welcome, the kindness of the Israelis and the beauty of their country. Whether Jews from Europe, Muslims from Morocco, Spanish and Greek Christians, etc. One of the Muslims even told me that he and his girlfriend were free and happy everywhere in Israel, that the only place where his girlfriend was very scared and was heckled was by Arabs while she was waiting for him in front of the mosque in Jerusalem. . Another told me I am Muslim but leaving this magnificent people I just wanted to shout Am Israel Hay
I am Israeli, I was born and raised here. You said that Jews and Muslims alike should be careful not to become targets, and they should not travel in nature. That is not true at all!! Everyone can travel happily in the country. Most of the citizens want to live in peace with each other and share a lot in common. thanks for sharing
Indians have always loved the occuppants and the criminals since they themselves are occupants like Assam ,Kashmir, etc.while Israeli have occupied large parts of Mideast through cooperation of West. But we hate both .

Great video and the type of content that really provides a real benefit to viewers. As a Christian, Israel is a very important country. I enjoyed this video and found it very educational.
Some rules or points I have never heard of despite being Jewish and have visited Israel countless times. Israel is the most awesome country in the world. Intellectual dynamic and warm people. It’s very vibrant and interesting with so many historical well preserved sites to visit. It also has a lots of national parks and nature reserves I highly recommend visiting, lots of hiking places too. A place like the Hula valley where migrating birds from Northern Europe and Russia stop over on their way to Africa for the winter has been preserved and you can go see the birds and visitor center shows bird movies has hiking trails gift store etc. Israel is into nature preservation and so many trees are planted all the time. It’s one of the few countries where RE-forestation has occurred. In the Negev desert large groups of new trees are forming brand new forests. Besides being very hospitable people it’s also very international and one hears lots of different languages there. Israel has the advantage of bringing Jews from all over the world together and sharing their knowledge and culture. For instance there’s a lovely Chocolate factory, D’ Carina, in the north where you can take a tour of the small factory and partake in making your own chocolates. It’s a family business that moved from Argentina I believe. So fun. My kids loved it, as did I. Just one of many possible excursions in Israel. There are also cable cars on Mount Harmon (small ski resort on Lebanese border) and to water caves by the ocean at Rosh Hanikra on Mediterranean side. So well organized and so beautiful to visit. The high tech industry is very successful and Israel is start up nation #2 after the Silicon Valley. So many new inventions come out of the army, out of necessity. Although they’ve had lots of political problems there is still amazing solidarity within the country and so energizing to be there. They forgot to mention many Arab families within Israel are very successful and affluent. Many are Muslim and are free to practice their religion. It’s a democracy with freedom of speech. There are Arab judges, doctors, politicians. Even though I didn’t grew up Jewish or know I had Jewish heritage before visiting first as a teen, when I’m there I feel at home. I stand with Israel! 🇮🇱❤️🇮🇱❤️

Wonderful description of Israel, and a nice way of explaining.
Beautiful. I wish this was shown in US High School Civics classes. It would really challenge them.
RIP S S
I lived there for 14 months and I am not a jew. I found the Israeli the nicest most friendly people I have ever met. God bless Israel and I wish them good luck in everything they do 😊😊😊😊. Also after thinking about it I found the Muslims that lived there some of the most unfriendly violent seeming people I have met in my life.
We didnot meet the same muslim. Did you go to Ramallah, Naplouse?? On west bank? How can you judge ??
Müslümanlar diyemezsin genelleme yapamazsın sen hak din ve son din olan islamı ve Hz. Muhammedin ümmetini eleştiremezsin din düşmanlığı yapamazsın kimse sana bu hakkı vermiyor. A crash course on history of the PALESTINIAN STATE:
1. Before Israel, there was a British mandate, not a Palestinian state
2. Before the British Mandate, there was the Ottoman Empire, not a Palestinian state.

A little more history for those wanting to 'restore Palestine'.

Pork is nasty. Who wants to eat an animal that lives most of its life in filth and eats its own feces?!
Sadly
@@ruthietaylor8756 i mean... Depends on who you asking. If you eat kosher eat kosher nobody shove pork in your mouth 😘 Democracy ya know

ISRAEL, le peuple le plus intelligent du monde!!!!!!!❤❤❤
Good video! I lived in Israel for my college years and there were somethings you mentioned that I was unaware of!
I'm happy you learned new things!
This is a very informative educational video. It is so helpful to listen to that I will listen to it over and over again to learn the most important history of Israel.
Israel won't last longer so better learn the history of Palestine hopefully you will gain some real education 😂
This video is pure #Hasbara.
Baruch Hashem. Am Yisrael Chai.
Thank you for the info You have more knowledge than what is portraited here
Always been on the bucket list to visit sounds like a lovely place with lovely people but as always when there is religion there's trouble as an atheist I never understand the hatred it brings with it but at the same time it respect people's beliefs I wish everyone in Israel good life
Please, many Jews are practically atheistic and the religion is not about faith so much as observing the law. Anyway, Jews are usually cool with other religions as long as they’re not trying to convert us.
Hello Israel in the Jewish land beautiful country thank you sharing this vlog
Thanks for watching.

Inshallah Long live Israel Alhamdulillah
Very informative, thank you. I've enjoyed your other videos also.
I enjoyed my 10 day journey from TelAviv to southern Israel 🇮🇱 in 2005. It was a most memorable time 👍🏼😎. 🇺🇸🇮🇱💪
Thanks for the info!
🙏🙏❤️🌺🙏🙏
And they force the Palestinians to practice shabbat every day of the year 😂

Bullshit
I visited Israel in September of 2023. Beautiful country and people. A very inspiring country.
Just before the war, you're lucky
We all Indian love israily from bottom of soul,as they are brave, fight everytime, though they are surrounded by enemy
Indians have always loved the occuppants and the criminals since they themselves are occupants like Assam ,Kashmir, etc.while Israeli have occupied large parts of Mideast through cooperation of West. But we hate both .
😅😅😅😅
@jeanbevilacqua470 Rightly said,,,, this is the most illiterate breed on earth

Oh! I didn't know that the festival of Lights was Jewish! You learn something new everyday
Haha actually Hindus also have a “festival of lights”: Devali. They also have a holiday by Yom Kippur: Durga puja, and one by Purim: Holi. We are linked!

As for Aramaic, it is also used in Biblical studies by religious Judeans

Very Nice Video For Education , Existance & Survival .
O
I admire the Israeli people. GOD look after them.
I have been to Israel. I would love to go back.

The 7 armed menorah, reminiscent of the one used in the Temple in Jerusalem, is the one used for the Israel emblem, not the Hanukkah menorah.
Delighted to hear from the chosen nation of God!
