I like and appreciate the art style a lot. It feels very genuine, like a real anime. It's sort of been a pain seeing how all these modern anime series take on a more realism-inspired style instead of sticking to the good old original anime style with easy lines and wider eyes. It just makes it more comfortable to watch.
I don't think there's such thing as "original anime style", "genuine", or even "real"... that's a little pretentious, at least when we think of it art-wise. i mean, we certainly don't call medieval art as original art, right? the taste of aesthetics just changed through the years. there is no unoriginal anime style. and recent anime art is NOT taking a taste for realism. have you seen their proportions?
Going back to this comment and seeing all the negative comments I have received, I guess I should have phrased it a bit more better. I admit, when I was talking about "realism-inspired", I should have brought up something completely different and not put it that way. Besides realism, the main problem I have with modern anime nowadays is how they try too hard to make all these characters look like they have baby faces. What I appreciate about this anime is that they at least give their characters a somewhat more mature look. Here, with all these other modern anime making grown ups look like young kids and dare I not mention *shudders* the disgusting loli movement going on, it's a comfort watching stuff like this where they not only use a more classic style of anime, but they keep the characters looking more mature and according to their age. That's all I could ask for.
I don't think them doing anything dirty is the issue? What the hell would a 45 year old man with a kid young enough to be her little brother and a failed marriage, want with a 17 year old girl who is still trying to find herself in life? That kind of power imbalance is why minors shouldn't be with adults. It's weird.

@@Error.404A yeah, i also agree with that too. The art style of this anime is really great. It also reminds me of those anime shows from the late 90's that also had this art style too.
well it's not really pedophilia. they're both adults since the girl is 18. it's up to them of what happens between them and their lives. comparing it with a male college student dating a baby is totally different as that is real pedophilia since one is a minor - a baby at that.
I've watched it before and had fun. Looking back now that I'm grown I realized something about people. She isn't attracted to him as a man but because he treats her with care and gentleness like a father. That's like watching "finding Nemo" and realising that nemo never existed to begin with.
Great anime. Good story and characters. What to do with love, with a difference in age has always been a topic of debate. Personally, I believe that there can be any age difference, the main thing is that everything would be legal when the relationship goes into the active stage. In the end, this is a personal matter for such people. The most important thing in such a relationship is that both partners would understand the difficulties that they will face. And they showed enough wisdom and maturity. Yes, among adolescents, not many have wisdom and maturity, but there are such. And even if he doesn’t have them, the older partner can teach this very wisdom. But if such people succeed, then this is the strongest evidence of the strongest feelings.
I disagree. Are you young, crazy or is this some foreign culture thing? Wisdom and maturity would have done nothing but prevent a 17 and a 45 year old from getting together. And if such does get together, it is in no way the strongest evidence of the strongest feelings. The strongest relationships have a lot in common, with support all around. This would have neither. Not saying it can't work out, just saying it would not be the strongest, it would be stressed and tested and much more likely fail, and just because you remain together after trials, in no way means your relationship is stronger.
I finally found this anime after about 3 weeks of searching, thank you for showing the anime name unlike the guy whi uploaded the other clip of this anime 👍👍
As long as the guy and girl are both mature and responsible and ready and consenting to engage in a long-lasting, serious relationship, why would there be a problem? But you know how people are... they will just repeat what they hear from others... I wish you two the best!
I really feel 25 years is to much of a gap. Edit: Someone in the comments said she was 20. She’s actually underaged at 17, and is a 28 year age gap. My cousin finish her training to be a surgeon at 27.
So, I may not have watched this anime cz people be saying the ending is kind of heart breaking and I don't wanna sacrifice a box of tissue. But I've been stalking clips of this anime on youtube. I gotta say many people seems to reject this anime cz of the age gap. Idk anything bout legal age stuff or whatever it is, but I'm gonna talk about how I relate myself so much to the female lead here. I'm in the age of teenagers and I've always stupidly fell for a man around 25~40 years old (I have my own preferences too, not just any man). And yes I used to like man around my age but I've been hurt too many times by boys around my age or younger than me that I'm fed up. My point is, age gap when it comes to love doesn't have to be so controversial. Whether the girl/boy starts from admiring or idolizing, it's not like the whole couples in the world doesn't just fall in love without admiring first. Or maybe one is having a depressing moment and the other shows up to support and help which in the end turns into a romantic story, it's not a rare occasion too. I've been there and I know how it feels not being supported by people around me for liking someone older and being criticized hard. In the end, all we seek for is happiness in love. P.S. I haven't watched the anime, I'm just answering to people who kinda rudely commenting on this anime about age gap and how it's judged so negative.
Wow, it's been a while since I've seen anything relating to this anime. Really good, handled the character dynamic in a mature way. It really slows down at the end tho

@@Error.404A yeah, i also agree with that too. The art style of this anime is really great. It also reminds me of those anime shows from the late 90's that also had this art style too.
@@magicalcat-girl5272 exactly..
Wow .. giving me 90s aesthetic vibes 💕
A underated gem bruh😭
people need to watch this anime more
I am her, honestly. >///>
Angry Ted why not ?, a lot female like older guy though. well i do have crush to my female teacher..
so.. in the future we can legalize paedophile ?
wha-what?!
that would be some kinky shit. the age difference is way to far
well it's not really pedophilia. they're both adults since the girl is 18. it's up to them of what happens between them and their lives. comparing it with a male college student dating a baby is totally different as that is real pedophilia since one is a minor - a baby at that.
Angelique Ooi well yeah.. soo college boy and baby girl can marry
Shes both funny and adorable!
Surprisingly good anime.
Really good story and how they worked the movies title into the actual anime was fantastic.
I've watched it before and had fun. Looking back now that I'm grown I realized something about people. She isn't attracted to him as a man but because he treats her with care and gentleness like a father. That's like watching "finding Nemo" and realising that nemo never existed to begin with.
OH MY GOD!! I didn’t know this had been adapted into a anime!! I’ve read a lot of the manga! I never finished it tho. I guess I should.
they need a sequel, maybe they meet again when akira is in college or something...
Underrated anime like run with the wind💯 Most people think this anime is sum weird stuff, which it isn’t.
I loved the music this anime had, specially the one that sounds in this clip.
RIP plates.
Your sacrifice will never be forgotten. 😔
These type of arts are my weaknesses UGHHH FAVORITE ANIME IN THat season
This is the best romantic anime I have ever watched :D
The animation is amazing!
When she found out that he's divorced. Her reaction was priceless. 😆
This anime is actually sweet highly recommend everyone to watch it,.
Name: after the rain.
She breaking those plates like I break my dreams every day
I finally found this anime after about 3 weeks of searching, thank you for showing the anime name unlike the guy whi uploaded the other clip of this anime 👍👍
This guy apologize everytime a plate fall. That's a pro
I'm 22 years older than my wife and we've been married for 21 years, so not a problem in my opinion.
Yes but they have 28 years difference, age gap is more
素敵。いいなぁ。
でも私、恋愛や結婚ができる訳ない女だから。こっそり憧れるだけにします…🐈💕💦
As long as the guy and girl are both mature and responsible and ready and consenting to engage in a long-lasting, serious relationship, why would there be a problem? But you know how people are... they will just repeat what they hear from others... I wish you two the best!
Lol he thinks she’s glaring at him in anger but if anything I think she’s getting fired up to go for it! Cute
I really feel 25 years is to much of a gap.
Edit: Someone in the comments said she was 20. She’s actually underaged at 17, and is a 28 year age gap. My cousin finish her training to be a surgeon at 27.
This is one of those animes that don’t disappoint
English title is "After The Rain" if I recall correctly. This anime played a huge role in my maturity and adulthood.
I am watching the live action movie for this manga and just saw this scene as well lol. Really nice
Sanji finally has a girl that loves him but he’s too blind to see it.
she looks like komi-san but remove the communication disorder
literally the cutest thing i've ever seen in my life
I watched this anime when it aired and thought it was like 3 years ago... bro its been 6 years Trolldespair.
I like this anime, there is nothing disgusting about it because the guy is actually decent. 😊
At first, she feel betrayed
Then her faith was restored
Wow, it's been a while since I've seen anything relating to this anime. Really good, handled the character dynamic in a mature way. It really slows down at the end tho
I remember watching this in a day 😭i wanna rewatch it now
Every time I hear his voice, I think of Sanji😂
"I need Raydiee"-Sanji
He is sanji haha when he get older
She seems 16 he seems 40... and she's the obsessed one. Yet people think it's cute. It's not cute, it's weird at best and down right twisted at worst.
It's cringe
