This was so aesthetic! One quick tip from a gardener tho, when you are repotting plants, you need to gently tease and tear the roots at the bottom of the plant before you put it in a new pot. Otherwise the roots will stay in the same shape as the original pot and the plant won't grow as well!

When planting, break up the root ball by gently squeezing it after removing it from the planter. Basil is hearty and will survive a lot of sun exposure as long as you water it enough. If you're concerned with sun exposure, consider getting a small awning or umbrella you can take down and bring inside to go over them during the hottest parts of the day. -10 years with Home Depot and over 30 years of living in Texas and planting things! ❤❤

not sure if anyone has mentioned this but find out what growing zone you are in. because fall and winter gardens do exist in certain zones and right now is time to start seeds for plants that grow in the cooler temps. so like spinach and other salad greens are veggies that grow better when it is cooler. so you might be able to start your seeds indoor and they will be ready to transplant when the temps cool down, but it depends on your zone. you need to know the first frost date. I'm in TX and have started some seeds to be ready for fall. And some seeds will need to be started in winter to be ready to be transplanted for spring and summer.

Hey there Annika! We don't use a pressure washer when cleaning our balcony, in our country we have a handmade broom called "walis tambo" which cleans up very well unlike those plastic brooms. It's appearance may not complement your go-to aesthetic, but atleast you got something handy. Pressure washer is still great though if you want to thoroughly clean your balcony.
Nice vlog! One tip though, you don't want to plant flowers in ceramic vases like the one you had in the video because it has no holes for the water to drain out and the roots will be susceptible to root rot. Instead, you could keep the flowers in the disposable pot you bought them in, and simply drop that pot into the ceramic vase. That way, when you are watering them, you can take the pot out of the decorative pot and let the excess water drain out before popping them back in. I hope your flowers don't perish before reading my comment. Much love
