Gotta hit the like on this one! Love these film-school tutorials. Thank you again! I've never mentioned it in my comments previously, but your advice two (or three? Yikes!) years ago about replicating the Aman- Resorts style, "mini movies is what they are, actually" I think you said, and then seeing how you applied that to your own hotel commercial, helped to shape, and continues to shape, the style of my own work. As for things like lighting ratios and balancing gimbals, etc. etc: It's exactly this nitty-gritty stuff that is so frustrating to figure out on your own, and it is so much easier when you have a mentor. As film school is currently out of my budget right now, that means your channel, dude!
Thank you so much for your kind words! It's so heart-warming to know that these videos are helpful and why I started making videos in the first place. Much love 🥰
I got mine from a package deal for some light I bought years ago. I can't remember the name of it, but I'm sure you can find a decent one from Amazon. Aputure, Godox, and other all make pretty good barn doors. Here's one to help you get started: amzn.to/49JJIC7

Appreciate you so much man! 🙏
