_This!_ is how you read a paper. Also, I have no idea what I'm talking about, but she sounds like a really smart person who understood the realities and possibilities for her in her time

Fun fact: They're the same mind projecting through the same Soul. The only difference is that as being Hildegard, that soul is slightly more refined or evolved.
Today, it's even more refined and still experiencing "otherworldly phenomena."
Guess which Indian sages it has been, or Hebrew or Egyptian or Arabic or Chinese or Japanese or Korean or Persian or Greek or French or Prussian or English or American or etc.

@@bluewren2 classic case of geschwinds syndrome, that is right. multiple religious visions means one thing TLE. You can say no dostoevsky, Hildegard and van gogh were visited by god himself, just happened to be compulsive writers & creatives also. They are classic cases of epilepsy & epilepsy's association with god & genius. deal with it

That is your supposition but its not a fact. You are simply presupposing physicalism, and therefore discounting the possibility of revelation, and interpreting the phenomena on that basis.

This points to shamanic states of consciousness as described by Winkelman
