I showed these episodes to my grandfather (a physics major and enjoyer of astronomy). Within the first few seconds, he was concerned about how they are in a very open space in the part of a rocket that is literally called the "solid rocket booster." There is no way that thing could have left the ground. And that was just the beginning. He did ask to watch another episode because he wanted to see that the characters were okay, so the story-telling was certainly still doing something compelling.
i can't wait for the s4 and s5, most of the fandom agrees they're one of the best seasons!! Also I'm really hoping this series will keep going long enough for them to see the oni trilogy or even the whole show, it's genuinely such a good yt series
oh my gosh "are we compatible now?" gets me every time it's such an adorable line And yeah, it makes the whole episode better (s14 spoilers here, just in case) It's the reason I got totally distraught over Nya and not Zane, because with Zane they make you cry for a few minutes and then go 'don't worry, he's not gone' But with Nya they made you cry for a few minutes and then went 'look, she's so happy she probably doesn't want to come back' Can't really decide which I like best
When I was a kid, my jaw dropped when Zane beat that Nindroid in slow-motion. But man when I heard that music during Zane's Sacrifice...Oh, I cried my eyes out. Also, don't be dissing, Kai 😅
I know that Zane's sacrifice was depressing and all, but it just bugs me that the prophecy specifically said that it would be Lloyd who defeated the overlord, not the ice ninja
@@flameofcourage1330 I don't know man, he technically backed down, it was the other Ninja's elemental power that defeated them. All Lloyd did was ride the dragon that defeated the overlord. I don't know if that counts.
a miss the good old days of Ninjago, when each moment was so powerful, haven't watched since the season after Nindroids with the Chen guy, those where great times
I think Maybe the reason why Tommy never wanted to do a space season on top of the reason he gave is because either they would have to blatantly defied the laws of physics for an extended period of time in order not to retcon what was already established in season 3 or just not have to ninja use their powers for a good chunk of the season. or they could just straight up retcon it 🤷🏾♀️
