Thanks for the shimmy, shake, jazz hands at the end. 🥰😅. Your blue chorus top really makes your eyes shine. Glad you have recuperated and have less stress and more time to enjoy your sewing. There’s an t-shirt saying out there: “it’s too peopley out there “.

Your wardrobe is beautiful! I got my colors done last year by Color Guru (thanks Whitney!) and it has been so helpful. Little by little I am sewing in my color palette and voila - suddenly everything matches! I am so happy with that. Like you said, saves money too. And oh how easy it becomes to pack for a trip🥰

I love your memade May outfits. I can see why sewing in your colour palette makes so much sense!I've recently had my colours done by a House of Color consultant and now I'm slowly sewing a wardrobe in my Vibrant Autumn palette. I will be using my colour fan when I go shopping for fabric. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experience about memademay!

First, thank you for saying (more or less) that color is hard to remember. That concept is something that I've been thinking about for a while now. Next, I really appreciate your saying that wardrobe building is a worthwhile endeavor in sewing ones' own clothes. It is a concept that is worth repeating. Thanks.

Interesting. I didn't know that was a thing. I can usually remember colors fairly accurately although if I'm feeling off, my color recall is off. The other problem is store lighting which can mess up everything and too many don't have windows or very few to be able to consult daylight references on an item.

Loved your film at the end . This has been a crazy month. Dr. Appointments, Car maintenance. The thing that h has about plucked my last nerve is both my son and I have been getting cataract surgery. My son had his last on Tuesday and I had my first done yesterday. The eye drops are never ending . My son has some difficulty getting them in his left eye. He still has a little over a couple of weeks to go in his right eye and just started on his left and I m just starting on my right. It’s a hot mess! My vision is still a bit blurry but what I can see is so vivid & bright. I can’t wait to get left eye done.

I loved the little dance and your gorgeous smile with each outfit. Each outfit is a real winner.
I particularly looked at the fit on the pants your wore. Seems like the derriere changes with age as much as other parts do so I'll have to review pattern alterations so I can make some new ones that fit well and are nice to wear.

Your thoughts on Me Made May really put things into perspective. How our creativity gets lost when we don't have the energy to do the fun things we love! I have a good idea of what my pallette is but there are colours that I love and wear anyway, adding anything with a white base makes me look more tanned bringing out the olive in my skintone but my eyes look either more green or brown when I wear clear jewel tones. So depending on what I want to highlight ... looking at your month review you seem much happier in dresses and your short flight suit!

ColorGuru and having a palette is awesome! Saves me money on makeup and hair coloring too. Even on no makeup days (heat, eyes unhappy, lazy while blessed with good skin & Grandpa's blue eyes). Still not convinced? Check Whitney's great, early content on wardrobe modules before she had her colors done and was wearing a summer palette.

i still watching, but had to agree with you that having a color palate has been "ME Changing". I can get dressed easily. I feel good a picking ANYTHING out. I don't grab one thing and then another and then have a mess of clothes to put back away. I feel great when i put the clothes on. I love just looking into my closet - they all go together and it looks like an artist's painting. If I had had all that done earlier in life i would have SA VED SO MUCH MONEY - in clothing and fabric purchases. That feeling of "having nothing to wear with a closet full of clothes is GONE". All that is because of YOUR videos.
I agree with you completely regarding some of your 'almost' colors. I had noticed that a few times and wondered if it was me. LOL. its funny how you notice things like that after becoming a color palate snob....lol OK. Back to the video...

I think it would make a lovely, fun, informative, and very helpful video if you took that video of your Me May Mades and talked us through what you have come away with, in relation to your knowledge of color, palates, tones, fabrics, garment style, etc. I was trying to do that as I watched, but it was very fast, plus I found myself just wondering what your thoughts were.... Thank you again!

Ok, for the past 30 years, I have not wanted to wear a dress, only in my closet for funerals. But, I'm actually thinking I'm going to step out of my box, my private comfort zone, and sew a dress. I can't believe I'm saying this! What is the pattern for your button down longer length dress in the darker greens and blues with the large print of ferns or palms and the like? I love that on you and think I want to start with that one. Thanks for this great video with all of your makes that give all of us ideas.
