I met a few Sikhs while helping at my brothers shipping business. That sounds more impressive than saying he was a wholesale yard/distribution facilities for lumber and cedar roofing materials on the West coast of the United States. Very honorable people who are dedicated to doing the right thing.
true, i bought high quality equipment for my lab from Sikh business partners, it's been cca 20 years and we are still in contact and they still provide me a free support, they are very honest and trustworthy people
Some of the best Indian Food can be found in Southall. But I do recall once driving through there and there were some Sikhs from the community on the side of the road giving fresh Samosas that they made to passers by. It was one of the most inspiring things I ever saw and they gave me some as well. Thank you guys for truly helping out the community.

Singh Sabha Havelock Rd in Southall (this one) is the biggest in terms of the Gurdwara Building. But Gravesend Gurdwara has more land. They own a private road, and the sports field next to the Gurdwara. It all depends on how you look at it.

It is wisk (yaks tail) in punjabi this is known as chowr .. it is used as a royal symbol of doing chowr .. in ancient days in india this used to done for great royal kings.. as Guru Sahib is regarded as Great King hence it is done

Great that they are so open and accepting of other races and religions, well done. I think its worth asking why this is possible in some western countries like Britain and yet would not be so possible in the country where the faith originates. This could be asked of many other religions that are thriving in another country. I would like to add at this point that my personal beliefs are atheist, humanist, evolution, and broadly scientific. I have warm feelings towards different races, indeed my own marriage is inter-racial, and i have personal connections with LGBT. 'coffee coloured people by the score' as the song goes. I think the success of the 'people harmony' in the video is that in Britain the government is 'nominally' secular and I think most people and government quietly accept this. Even if this is sometimes not apparent with references to God being left in with the dialogue, not added, but not being thrown out either. This state of play in Britain is slightly fragile, but that would be the tip of the ice-burg for further discussion.

Twenty years ago was better( but still had issues eg there was communal violence among the Sikh community in Vancouver). I think the situation has only got worse since then.i would argue there is less tolerance today especially genuine tolerance( more PC tolerance )I would put that down to the politics going back over the last twenty years in which religion became more and more politicized. Whereby communities were offered funding in return for votes.
