He let Higgins go with Ethan to experience time with him so she could be certain about what she wanted he could of convinced her to stay easily you could see the hesitation and uncertainty she had on her decision weather or not to go almost like she was waiting on Thomas to ask her to stay but he didn’t want to be the thing holding her back
Hoping that the studio will do a TV movie or two to address some open plots like who’s been going after Thomas, Rick and TC, what happened to Ivan and if Viper still in prison or not.
Not going to happen...the clip from tonight's episode shows she is now starting a thing with her teenage clients dad...not happy about this....AGAIN!!! Loved this private moment between Miggins....

You know, the original went to great pains to make sure they got little bits of important information right. It's kind of a hallmark of Bellisarios productions. Devil's in the details, and you build great character and dialogue off it... if you were accepted into the Naval Academy, you didn't "Enlist". Don't know a single Academy graduate who would call it enlisting in any branch of service. It's a small thing, but really an important detail. It's just one of many things I really came to hate about this reboot in just the first few episodes. I like these two actors and they have an interesting chemistry... but, this production has such little respect for the original series. It's a cardboard cut out... same names, same setting but... really it's just a glossy and yet still cheap imitation of the original just like so many of the network's reboots of successful 70's and 80's shows.
The 80s are over an yes the original Magnum was great, but watch it today an it's dated , everybody likes to compare a show like this to it's original an really it's not fair to judge a remake of a almost 40 year old show. Well if you haven't heard you won't have to watch this cutout card board cut out of the original as it's been cancelled.
I can't believe they turned the memorable skirmishes between Higgins and Magnum into this pathetic, cheesy farce. it's just lucky that John Hillerman can't see this crap

Finally some alone time together. One of my favorite scenes between them especially at the end when Magnum says his Mom would’ve liked Higgy.
