I loose interest in watching this movie after Nic past away, it’s just heartbreaking 😢, for the fact that she’s the one that keeps them together 😢

It's maybe too late to comment. But I was in tears when nic dies.

My heart breaks for Tim many times throughout the series. This is one of the most heartbreaking scenes of all, though. The fact he knows his father was cruel and abusive to Tim and his family, but he went out of his way to help this woman. The way he refuses to accept his father's claims and emphasises that 'I am who I am in SPITE of you'. The threat of tears in his voice the way his voice breaks, and he struggles to maintain his composure. His vulnerability with Lucy. Most of all, though, the way he is so desperate for Lucy's reassurance that he is nothing like his father. That the Tim Tests don't make him like him. He so desperately needed to hear her say he's not his father and to have that hug.

I know this is acting but man i cried so much... poor Conrad and Gigi ❤

And for Tim, if his father abused him, yes he has the right to be upset with his father, but if he disciplined him hard enough for him to be the harden man that he is now to survive in this world he should be thanking his father

Cry me a River there’s a difference between abuse and discipline, and my father had to discipline me and my brother to make sure that we would survive in the world as an adult man of two children of my own I’m doing the same thing my father did to me to make sure my children can survive in this crappy world

being on the receiving end of an "I'm not okay" from someone who's usually super stoic and put together is a haunting experience. being the one who's not okay and desperately hoping they haven't turned into the monster they've tried so hard to avoid becoming is terrifying. idk that there will ever be enough praise for Eric Winter's performance here tbh
