I know most of the team hated rolland, especially linc, but it's a little hard not to pity rolland's character given they hardly respected him, which was partly his own fault for being a greedy coward. However, his greed is his biggest flaw. nobody forced him to go back to the casino to lose his device or betray the team for money. Then there was when he was confused why sarah and michael were still helping without their ankle monitors on, even admitting he would have ran away the second he got the chance. It shows that Rolland, despite of given a 2nd chance to earn his freedom, didn't care for the cause and only cared for himself. I do feel bad for him, but he brought this on himself, no one forced him to betray the team or sell them out.

I actually like this tv show and seeing this therapy scene I can totally relate to Higgins. For 26 yrs and recently out of college, a variety of acquaintances/family will ask me that and the truth theres really never time to figure that out sadly. If life wasnt all about going to school doing homework 24/7 and having a job and having the free time maybe I would have time to explore what I want I guess taking an approach kinda like one of my favorite female musicians. Romantically, well maybe if there was time maybe but sadly not. Looking back I had a choice in high/middle but I didn't want to date a teachers student/students just weird but overall theres no time sadly from an obvious point

There is some real irony in these scenes. When Tim says "No, I am who I am in spite of you" he's actually wrong, what his father put him through absolutely shaped who he is both as a man and an officer if for no other reason than showing him how *_not_* to be either. And when he says "those don't make me like him. I'm nothing like him", echoing his father nearly word for word when he insisted he was nothing like Frank, its because deep down he knows they in fact do make him like his father as he too believes harsh lessons are required for proper growth. Tim believes his "Tim Tests" aren't the same because he isn't doing it out of malice while he believes his father was doing his "lessons" out of malice, yet we clearly see his father genuinely believed he was helping Tim.
